Most amazing. Location easy walk to harbour, shops, centre. Modern well fit out and parking acailable. Most outstanding was friendly helpful reception. From prompt answer to questions via email to entry help was there . Reception showed us all aspects of room. Beyond helpful our washing was washed and dried and items not able to go in drier were hung on our terrace to dry. All whilst we were exploring Rostock. We had issues returning our rental car and reception was able to contact taxi service, provide adresses and send taxi to collect our husbands stranded at car rental drop off. We could not have had better help anywhere. Top score and thoroughly recommended.
We stayed here for 3 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment. The layout was excellent and comfortable. Reception staff were nice and helpful. Place was clean and well decked out with kitchen gear. We had some laundry to do, the lady took our laundry in a large plastic tub and washed and dried our clothes for 10 euros. Easy tram access to railway station, and a short stroll to many stores and restaurants. Coming from another country, we were unfamiliar with how some things worked eg..floor heating and lighting. It would be nice if there was some booklet with how to operate certain items. A BIG bug bear was the TV. A large TV in the lounge area. No TV channel list (and there are numerous stations) and no English speaking stations. I do carry my own media centre with movies to plug into a TV , for this reason. It wouldnt detect it...frustrating...also there was a DVD player attached but it didnt work. Yes might sound petty.... but after a big day sightseeing , its nice to relax and watch something before bed.…
Very nice apartment. Excellent facilities. Perfect location 2 min walk from the main square. Friendly staff. Only small suggestion: Please turn up the heating in this corner room some hours prior to arrival of guests. It takes some time to take effect. Rostock itself was a pleasant surprise - well worth a visit.
I am a little late writing this but it needs to be written. In short, this place was perfect. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with our children while visiting the Christmas market. The hotel was better than the web suggested and did exactly what was needed. Great location, great apartment, good parking and lovely staff who could not do enough for us. Well done on a really great place that knows what it wants to be and does it perfectly.
We felt very welcome when we arrived in the reception with our two 1½-year old kids. They were immidiately given crayons and drawing paper by the receptionist. After a quick check-in, the receptionist insisted on helping us with the luggage. The apartment /(#72) was very nice, consisting of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, kitchen, balcony etc. It is possible to order breakfast but we were recommended by the receptionist not to order it as it would probably not be for the kids. Excellent service! The hotel is in the city centre making it very easy to walk to restaurants, sights etc. All in all a stay and a hotel that exceeded our expectations. PS: Free wifi with very strong signal.
Stayed 7 days in this ultra modern apartment with all the comforts of home, and then some. Staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English, always a benefit for linguistically challenged Anglos. I highly recommend this as a cost effective alternative to hotels
We are a family of two adults and two teenagers. We stayed one night in Rostock on our way back home to Sweden from Prague. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. The apartment was spacious, modern and very nice. All the amenities we desired were available. Parking avaliable in the same building. The apartment is just a short walk from the city centre of Rostock.
My family of 5 spent one night at the Rostock apartment living hotel. It was very clean and modern and very spacious (we were in the large, two bedroom hotel). We would have been very comfortable there for an extended period. The bathroom was large, with a very nice shower, the beds were very comfortable, there was a balcony with a table and chairs as well and the living and dining areas inside. We ordered a breakfast which was delivered to the room and was good. My only negative is that this hotel is really not that good for one night, as we did. You have to pay a cleaning fee which adds to the price quite a bit for just one night. For our family, it was still cost effective since we normally have to get two hotel rooms but just a heads up in case you are on a short stay that there are fees which are not in a regular hotel.…
We stayed 3 nights at the Rostock Apartment Living Hotel. The apartment was newly fitted out in modern style and was very clean and spacious. The location was excellent, close to the Neuer Market square and the old town. Everything was within walking distance. We didn't have the hotel breakfast (fairly expensive) and catered for ourselves using the fully equipped kitchen. Hotel staff were friendly and pleasant. No complaints at all and highly recommended.
I stayed in the most luxury apartment (business). The apartment is very nice but also very pricy. Situated in the center of Rostock all interesting places are within walking distance. I did not have much time to visit the city but it is similar to cities like Lubeck, Wismar and Schwerin. The apartment easily sleeps two couples, has a small but nice balcony and has all you need. Dishwasher, fridge, induction cooking, reasonably priced minibar, free internet. Although that might be because i was in the business apartment
