Stayed one night at the Romantik Hotel Walhalla after cycling 70 miles and in that respect maybe anywhere would have done! However, it’s very pleasant inside, traditional and rooms whilst not huge more than adequate. Good WiFi and an excellent powerful shower. Great central location...More
This hotel is very well located, clean, breakfast is wonderful and the beds are good. So normally I would give at least 4 stars. However, it was a warm night and smokers sat in the courtyard until 01.00 am (and again in the early morning),...More
Take a look at the photo I've attached to this review. How my husband and I avoided knocking ourselves out by the old beams more than once, was just good luck!
We had to walk around stooping to avoid injury. Room was dusty and old,...More
An historic hotel in the heart of the town. Well renovated and maintained and atmospheric.
Excellent breakfast all included in the price.
The room was rather small though for one or two nights is fine.

I have stayed some times here, very nice location and decoration, well managed.
Rooms a little small but well organized.
Excellent breakfast, one of the best I know.
And easy garage which is nice to have in the city center.

Usually there is no parking lot in front of the hotel although there is public parking space (for parking fee on hourly basis); but the hotel has private parking space. You can unload the car in front of the hotel (or use their service to unload as they offer) and the staff is parking the car as well as picking the car for the needed time, leaving it in front of the hotel to load again. So no worries regarding parking. I would just recommend to indicate with the room booking to indicate that you need a parking lot (small parking lot fee but I dont recall the exact amount).

"Avoid the rooms around the courtyard, ask for a room in the old part of the hotel."
