Small hotel in the middle of Wiesbaden old town center, (Mitte). Super convenient to pedestrian areas with shops and restaurants and specially Wiesbaden Christmas market. The hotel is exactly as advertised “their House”. There’s a lot to be said for that: a cozy environment , and familiarity from very efficient staff. However the rooms are super small and hotel is lacking in common amenities found in other hotels, such as a safe in your room, regular foam pillows, convenient parking, and staff available on premises after hours. They provide a phone number for emergencies after 2PM. The street in front of the hotel is very noisy due to large recycling containers where stuff seems to always to be disposed of by business and local residents (at all hours). The building is older as to be expected and windows allow for a full noise experience. Again the positive is the very nice front desk and breakfast room staff.…
Very friendly staff, comfortable modern room - all spotlessly clean. Tasty breakfast - do try the freshly squeezed orange juice - superb! Close to many cafes and bars- quiet restfull park just round the corner to relax in.
Lovely hotel!Location is perfect!!Easy to walk around and visit Wiesbaden.Breakfast is amazin! Salty sweet and fresh fruits!!!Rooms are very clean and comfy. All the staff is was very kind. I do recommend this hotel!
I've never stayed in a hotel room before that provided a hot water bottle for its guests! That is the level of attention to detail in this small budget hotel, located in the center of town with easy walking access to all of the main attractions. We rented a superior double room that was quite comfortable, with a very good mattress, plenty of good pillows, and located toward the back of the hotel, which meant absolutely no street noise. Unfortunately the hotel still tended to be noisy because guests got back to their rooms at all hours of the night and the insulation was not sufficient to buffer the sound. That's the reason why we would not stay there again, despite the fact that the staff was amazingly helpful and friendly and the hotel impeccably clean. It's really nobody's fault -- just a structural problem in this old building. If you are a sound sleeper and not sensitive to noise in the middle of the night then by all means stay there -- it's really a great bargain and a wonderful place.…
This hotel is located in the heart of Wiesbaden and tastefully furnished. They have nice touches in the room such as a kettle with a choice of hot drinks. The rooms are not very big but quiet considering the location. The breakfast is delicious with a great choice. The staff are friendly and speak good English and serve you with a smile!
A nice small hotel with friendly staff in the centre of the town. The rooms are very well equipped, the guests can use the breakfast buffet in a pleasant room. The hotel has no own parking lots, but you can park for a discounted price in the underground garage nearby the hotel.
My husband and I are in the process of moving from the Stuttgart area to Wiesbaden. We are now house hunting and made our first visit to the Wiesbaden area over the weekend so we could visit two properties. Because we planned our trip on short notice and one prospective landlord wanted to meet our two dogs, we had to bring them with us. I had originally tried to rent a supposedly pet friendly apartment in nearby Mainz, but when the owner found out we have beagles, she asked us to cancel our reservation, claiming her apartment was "too small". I found Town Hotel Wiesbaden on BringFido.com and, when I made my booking, was delighted when I was assured this hotel is totally pet friendly. In fact, there weren't even any extra charges to bring my dogs. When we arrived at the hotel on Saturday afternoon, we were warmly welcomed. My husband picked up a parking ticket so he could park in the nearby garage where the hotel has an arrangement for guests to park for 12 euros per 24 hours. Having read reviews on TripAdvisor, I was expecting our "standard" room (22) to be very small. I did actually attempt to upgrade to a superior room, but I guess the change to the booking was overlooked. Nevertheless, although the room was tiny, it suited our needs. It was clean, had a comfortable bed, and was situated by a tiny courtyard, which made it easier to keep the dogs quiet. I also liked the shower, which got good pressure and was larger than usual. We did have to get new batteries for the television remote and I noticed a bulb was out in one of the reading lamps. I was impressed by the generous breakfast offered in the breakfast room, as well as the "honor bar" in the reception area. It was nice to have some wine after we viewed a couple of properties. The hotel is also in a great location and is surrounded by shopping and several good restaurants. The Thai restaurant next door is particularly nice! Our house hunt is continuing, so I won't be surprised if I book at least one more stay at this hotel. Next time, I'll make sure to ask for a superior room if the dogs are with us. Thanks again to the great staff at the Town Hotel Wiesbaden!…
A nice small hotel on a great place. A basic room, with good cleaning and nice air conditioner. The staff was very nice and the breakfast good. A nice minibar in the lobby with reasonable prices. A good choice in every way.
The rooms are small but comfortable. The breakfast is of good quality and various. The service is very friendly. The rooms are flashilly clean. It is only a 5 min. walk to the city center and there are a lot of restaurants nearby.
Small, but nice, hotel located centrally and very convenient for the christmas market. The hotel is about 5 mins walk from the market so far enough away to be quite but close enough to easily walk. Staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke excellent english. Room was quite small so fitting luggage in required a little thought as we had several bags. But it fitted into the window neatly and under the small corner table so no problem. Bed was really comfortable. Bathroom had a really funky shower with lots of different settings and jets. Breakfast buffet was way bigger and more varied than I expected given the size of hotel. Plenty of food to eat. Good tea and coffee. No car parking at the actual hotel but pay parking a few minutes walk away. We would definitely use this hotel again if we returned to Wiesbaden.…
