This hotel looks beautiful from outside, but more or less shuts down at 9.30 at night, the lift is switched off at 9.30, there is no lounge to sit in and no TV, tv in bedrooms has 2 channels which are German, and very old. Food wasn't too bad, but not a great selection, bedroom was very dated, there is... More

Good hotel on the banks of the Rhine, staff were excellent as was the food. Exceptional service throughout our stay. Our room overlooked the Rhine, what a wonderful view! We have stayed in Assmannshausen three times this was the first time at the Hotel Germania and we were really impressed. The wine served was local and of the highest quality.... More

Lovely comfortable hotel, staff excellent: rooms comfortable, clean and tidy. Dining room a bit gloomy but nice neverthelss, food good, if a little unambitious, but obviously designed for large coach parties (like ours). Only drawback is the close proximity of the railway line, which for some rooms like ours was directly above our window: however I have to say that... More

very nice hotel, in assmanhausen rudesheim. right on the river rhine. great staff good food. only downside is that the main railway line runs past the back of the hotel. with freight trains running day and night, we were lucky to have a double room at the side and near the front, away from the railway. we could still hear... Love the small but beautiful hotel. Hostess was very nice and willing to help us in every small details of our questions. Breakfast was the most king-like one I ever had! Great place and will definitely recommend it! Looking forward to stay there again in the future

The noise of the trains that go past "so often you won't notice them" is a welcome relief from the incessant noise of the band that appears to be playing in your bedroom. After midnight it quietened down with only a dj until 5am on Saturday night. Anna Maria is an excellent host being helpful with tours, restaurants and directions.... More

Attended Hotel as part of Topdeck tour. Stayed for one night in large bedroom with ensuite. Furnished with traditional, local furniture. Room clean enough. Food average - nothing special. Location and area is interesting to visit.

Obviously, the owners of this hotel know the hospitality business, and that service is the most important thing. I chose this hotel after a recommendation from a friend. I was very happy that I did. We arrived late in the evening (around 10) with 3 kids, and were greeted by a very nice owner who was very helpful in setting... More

Stopped here after a weekend camping and partying at Nature One. Good bar downstairs where you could just relax with a beer and watch football that was show on the TV's. We stopped on a sunday which was a quiet night, had it been over the weekend im sure this place is the liveliest place in the town. Honesty bar... More
