This hotel's location is in bad area. The rooms smelt really bad. The front desk receptionist was a bit underhanded in nature, to say that bad things about staffs is never nice but the front staffs are awful.

I stayed already 4 times in this hotel but this will be the last time. I arrived in the afternoon, did the check in and payed the room and all was fine. then i went out to diner and went I come back a very unfriendly receptionist asked for my ID. As I already provided my ID earlier this day I refused and went to the elevator to go to my room, as I had the key card of my room with me. He followed me and blocked to the lift. I said that he will report him to the manager and he answer that he was the manager ( which i seriously doubt...) . I asked his name and he refused to answer (the next day an employee told me it was "Ashraf" but can't be sure. But he was on duty on the night 4/5th October so the Hotel can easily knows who he is). He was very agressive and had a strange behaviour I did not feel safe at all. Then I ran to the stairs to escape him and locked myself in the room. Such an accident should not happen. I can't understand. Someone like that should not be left alone with customers.

It is not just that the location is dangerous and is a bad hotel like other reviewers sayd. There are drug dealers and prostitutes inside. But the worst, if possible, is the staff of the hotel. The are very very rude! I have never been so badly treated like the repectionist did! I would not recomend it to my worst enemy

This hotel is like a stay in hell. I have travelled extensively around Asia & Europe and this place is almost certainly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The rooms are unbelievably small, it is smack bang in the middle of a severe drug and prostitution district, the cleaners randomly barge in without knocking & the wifi is laughably slow and only stays connected in 5 minute increments. On top of this, a sewage line exploded in our room, meaning we had to sleep in a room that smelt of human excrement overnight. In the morning we had to open the windows in the freezing cold to tolerate the smell without vomiting and be able to get dressed. When enquiring about compensation we were told to email the hotel. However in the email, the reception person Michael E lied and said we were offered an alternative room and did not take it, which is completely false because it was during the Messe Christmas Fair and they explicitly told us that they were completely booked out. No compensation whatsover was offered for sleeping in an excrement filled room with no alternatives, and on top of this management lied to avoid it.

In the middle of the red light district, if thats your cup of tea you are at the right place- if not you will be dissapointed!! The rooms are small, I mean really small in that you cannot stretch both arms out without touching the wall. No hanging space in the cupboard and still not sure where to put my suitcase to get to my clothes. The wifi is as shoddy as you can get and you probably get a faster connection from the dealers on the corner. The room is clean but that is what you expect from a 4 star hotel, however customer service got stuck before any stars. A quite room means a constant humming of the pipes - perhaps it is to drone out the other noise and asking for support from reception.... well... the response from the singing pipes was at least responsive!! To sum it up in three words. DOnt ... dont ...... dont!!
