Nice hotel. Very helpful staff. Easy to find. 2 streets from the train station. Would choose this hotel again. TV even gave me British programmes. Wifi works well. felt safe. loved Frankfurt especially all the skyscrapers and the German people especially friendly.
I had a 3 nights business trip in which I had to cover my travel costs and chose this hotel for being close to the office. The hotel looks a bit dated, but the room was big, clean and with items like minibar and safe. Breakfast costs 9,5 euros and is worth the price with a bigger than expected choice of cold and warm food. Area near train station not so clean, but it not as bad as years ago, pretty safe now. Plenty of restaurant options nearby. Tram next to hotel, so good for transport although a bit noisy. I would choose this hotel again.
This hotel had some real highs and some real lows. Highs: This hotel is within walking distance of most anything you would want to see in Frankfurt. You can easily catch the bus or the train, walk down to the river, get to the bridge to go across the rive, and much more. The rooms are cozy but accommodated 2 adults and a child very nicely Angela, the wonderful woman who served breakfast was amazing. She took care of us daily and we were sad to leave her. The breakfast spread, although the same daily, was still delightful. Lows: There is no parking! if you are renting a car, this is not the hotel for you. They have a small parking lot behind the hotel that fits maybe 6 cars. If you are lucky enough to get one of these, you have to pay a fee to the hotel. Otherwise you pay a fee to park in the street every day This hotel is literally on a noisy street. The tram runs right through, all night. Although it runs less in the evening, it is still a noise that can keep you up. Because the tram runs right through here, there tend to be quite a few that have had just a tad to much fun, they are also loud. Additionally there is a bar and restaurant across the way that don't open until the evening. They do quite a bit of business. The lows made it a difficult place to stay for my family and I; however, the highs and more specifically Angela helped make up for it.…
Booked this place as location was close to from where we had train to catch. Location is at premium but neighborhood is dodgy. Safety concern made us have an early supper and cloistered inside cold dingy room. Premium guests would stay here once neighborhood becomes inviting.
Upon arrival, the allocated room was dirty with bathroom very unclean and probably not been dusted in some time. We were moved to an alternate room which smelt of stale cigarette. Not wanting this to spoil our holiday we bought a room freshener and that worked fine. The room was warm once we turned the heating up and the shower lovely and warm but the shower head didn’t like to be moved. The location however was perfect and local amenities were good. Lovely little coffee shop about a minutes walk away with delicious coffee and pastries. The local eateries were reasonably priced with huge portions. About a brisk 10 minute walk saw us at the city centre and the Christmas market was not disappointing.
