We've stayed for 2 nights at Cristall Hotel and were very pleased, had a new refurbished room on the second floor, very quiet although near traffic and train station. The receptionist who plays bagpipes as well :) recommended us what to visit and which are the best restaurants in town. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for one night while moving from Germany back to the US. Chose it mainly for its proximity to the Hauptbahnhof (right across the street) and the price (50 Euro for a double room). I wasn't expecting a whole lot for the price, but was pleasantly surprised. The first two floors have newly renovated rooms that are very well...

We have stayed in this hotel last September. There was nothing astonishing, however the hotel wa stylish and dignified, a really value for money choice. It's location was perfect, right next to the railway station. The room was a bit old but very clean and tidy. The stuff was also friendly. The breakfast was magnificent!!! I would dare to say...

We stayed at this hotel upon our arrival in Germany for one night and again in a renovated room just before our departure from Germany. What a difference in rooms! Request the renovated room, and a balcony if you can. The staff were helpful, the location is just beside the main train station, and the breakfast was superior, even with...

I found this hotel in HRS and was doubtful about its quality, since it was incredibly cheap and right next door to the Frankfurt Main Train Station. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was big enough and clean. They even supplied me with a new and enormous bar of soap--not like the ones you...

This hotel was acceptable as a crash pad and we were happy that it was completely smokefree -- and for €59 per night for two people, including breakfast, we didn't expect much. We only arrived late in the evening by train almost right next door at the "Hauptbahnhof" (main train station), and left early the next day for the airport,...

Breakfast table had organic section, so that was the only good part. The rest was all bad. On the last day, I had to leave early to catch the train (that is the reason I have stayed at this hotel next to the main station), so when I was settling the bill the night before, I have asked if I...

On a 3 day trip to Frankfurt just before the snow took over the airports, was booked with this quaint small hotel.Hotel Cristall Frankfurt Ottostr. 3 60329 Frankfurt am Main The USP was that it was next to the tube station. The check- in was smooth a very helpful manager who could advice you on anything and everything. A pre...

Third time we spent a weekend at the Cristall. Location and value is hard to beat. The rooms are small, but the beds are good and the bath room is fine. Cleaning is excellent. Some traffic noise must be expected, but not so much that it bothered us. Only two problems: The lobby area is practically non-existent, and with the...

The hotel is an excellent location if you are travelling on budget - 3 minutes walk from the central railway station. The reverse side of this, however, is that it is terribly noisy outside throughout the night, and if you want to get to sleep, make sure you bring some earplugs. I did, and had almost no problem. My single...
