Hotel's Favourite
The rooms are clean, but have a rather strange layout which means it is quite a detour to get to the bothroom. The hotel rooms and corridor feel a little tired, but the place is clean.
What makes all the difference is the stunning views. From your room and the breakfast area too. Reception is on the 22nd floor and you take this glass elevator to get there, which is really nice.
The hotel is just a stone's throw from the subway, which takes you all the way to/from the airport in about 15-20mins for EUR 5.80.
Overall a great choice if you're staying in the area.

I agree with some of the previous comments about this hotel. I chose this hotel mainly because of the view and the location, and the two elements were definitely good enough to enable a good overall experience. Some hardware issues, reactions, and small things that could have been made the guest much more delightful were questionably lacking.
1. Two of the lamps in the suite were out and I reported that to the front desk. There was no report on updates although I think the bulb replacement could have been done quite immediately or at least the progress could have been reported to the guest. I might have had to expect slower reaction speed in hearing about how the hotel handled this kind of issue.
2. During the check-in, information about wi-fi in the suite could have been told to the guest. I think that was a very easy procedure to avoid the guest's additional phone call to the reception desk.
3. On the second day, the coffee capsule could have been refilled. I think this 1-Euro thing could have delighted the guest who spent 200+ Euros per day for a stay.
4. The rainshower section needed some improvement. (It was extremely hard to adjust the water temperature.)
It also would be nice to inform the guest of the type of lights/blinds available in the room. I needed some time to fully aware of the switches for the lights and the blinds.
Despite this, I appreciate the overall kindness of the staff and the stay.

The view and the room itself is nice and a big plus. However the room looked a little bit run down and needs a renovation, there were a lot of sports were dirt and grease have been built up. The kitchenette had burn holes and water damages. the door to the throne room does not close and has no proper ventilation. the bed is uncomfortable and noisy and what is the deal with double beds and two single blankets. is it too hard to provide a double duvet, big bed one big duvet
breakfast with view it would be so awesome, especially if you catch the sun rising. but the breakfast itself could a lot improvement. better toast, brewed coffee at the table and not from a machine, the staff is there so you can utilize those, they breakfast staff seemed friendly. eggs, bacon and other warm option are not even on fast food quality level. pastries and danish sweets are alright
check-in / check-out was cold efficient - maybe that's a German thing but asking a guest how the travel was and how the stay was hurts no one.
parking 29 euro the night? look I know this is FFM but a parking spot 24h next door is 12.50 Euro. Guest parking should not be a source of making extra money ;)

They have got this panoramic view, but everything else is a nightmare. The room was dirty, with dust all over the place; but this is not the worst part. When showering, one could literally smell sewage. But then, I found out that toilets are clogged, so I wonder how much filth comes into the shower. Moreover, most of the bulbs either missing or not working and the coffee machine was not functional.
I tried to call reception but they do not anwser, either using the room phone or even using the external line in via mobile, so I had to come down to complain, just to discover how rude and unhelpful the staff are. I explained it all to this guy in reception and told him that I will be complaining, but his words were: "just write that I am the worst person in the world". I don't know if he finds that amusing, but I suppose I can share his wish with the world.
The thing is that the world doesn't really care about him. People only care about sleeping in a clean room help when things go wrong; not showering in the filth again and actually not even taking the risk of ending up in the filth in the first place. So, there is the view but a hotel is not about the view. This place is very badly maintained (and the staff seem to be having a laugh about it) and that is real shame.

ok so the reason this hotels gets 1* is because its all about a nights sleep. i am staying in room 2704 which is apartment with added space. So the staff and breakfast is excellent as are the views and interior BUT
- i work on mechanical systems currently in frankfurtand my partner came over for the weekend. at great expense £500 from sat-tues... it is 37’ by day and 24 at night. i do have knowledge of AC and cooling systems ( cold air , room temp etc . but either the thermostat in my room is broken or a problem with plant, so with the big windows the humidity and room temp are stifling . i have had 4 showers so far writing this at 7.45 pm . i have complained but management dont work weekends so the desk cant help me. the building is 30 floors tall and this doesnt seem a problem elsewhere with other companies ( access/egress) to hotel is through other floors and areas, so this is the hotels issue. I cant comment wether anybody else is complaining but this is not a good experience. i am 35 years old and not somebody who isnt easily pleased, this is the first time i’ve ever wrote a review as i do feel so strongly about this issue. What a shame, spoiled the weekend

My stay at Innside Melia Frankfurt was adequate, the staff tried to be kind. Reasonable location, comfortable bed. Cheap breakfast ingredients. I am most irritated by the fact that the security deposit on my room has still not been released notwithstanding I received no additional services and checked out some days ago. The Hotel is not responding to my request for confirmation that the deposit has been voided.

We were supposed to stay here for one night. It was supposed to be one of the nicer hotels we booked for our trip in germany. Sadly, the day we were supposed to arrive in Frankfurt, we got stuck in Munich in a snowstorm that blocked all roads, trains and the airport and even though we had train tickets we couldn't go.
We called and sent the hotel an email expressing and stressing the fact we were stranded in Munich, and we couldn't arrive that day, asking for a waiver on the 90% cancellation fee, but they refused. We even asked for a chance to postpone the stay, as we knew we would get to frankfurt once the trains will be back, but they had no interest in rebooking or helping in any way, no flexibility what-so-ever. This of course is on top of the 1) the train ticket for a train that was canceled, 2) a last minute hotel in Munich we had to book 3) the cost of changing our flight.
The representatives in the hotel office were rude, unhelpful, and had no desire to be helpful. I would avoid booking with such a hotel, cause once you run into some trouble, they are not likely to accomodate or try to help...

Here for a business trip - Was not sure what to expect when we walk in cramped reception which was high up in a office block - but the rooms very very clean and specious with great facilities including a kitchenet. Breakfast was really good. Very close to all the amenities a short taxi ride to the conference centre Overall it was excellent and would recommend it.
