I have stayed at this hotel 3 times this year as a Hilton Diamond member. The hotel is no where near the standard of service you used to get precovid. The executive lounge is still closed. Every time I ask it is being renovated and will open in a couple of weeks. ( first asked February) The food from the lounge is overpriced and just plain bad. I asked for a Hilton Burger well done, literally 2 mins later ( faster than McDonalds) an undercooked/ raw hamburger and reheated fries appeared. For 27 euros I was not impressed. Don’t get me wrong, pleasant hotel needs some quality control and help.
First time in Frankfurt and selected this hotel because my hubby is a Diamond member and because it has a swimming pool, which we did use. First, the hotel itself is modern, well furnished, and is really beautiful inside the lobby as well as the rooms. We got an amazing corner 10th floor room with two walls of windows and an amazing view. Plenty of space in this room and the bathroom has a separate tub and shower which is nice. We did sit at the bar and ordered drinks and there are plenty of areas to sit in groups or solo and relax in a comfy chair and enjoy a glass of wine. The pool is actually part of the fitness center which is attached to the hotel. Coed locker rooms were a little different and the pool was packed so we had to share swimming lanes with at least 3 other people which meant we had to swim up one lane and down the next, and with people of different speeds which gets kinda tricky. Wasn't ideal for us but we made due. The location of this hotel is fantastic. It has a pretty park with small lake right out of the back and is within a short walk to the Opera house and plenty of shops and restaurants. One of the favorite hotels Is have stayed in , in a while and would absolutely stay here again.…
Benjamin at reception was fantastic, he is an extremely enthusiastic, kind, caring person who made our stay very enjoyable and I cannot wait to visit again. Rooms were very clean, breakfast was great and location is perfect for visiting the old town.
Enjoyed my stay here. The reception was most helpful and gave us some tips on how to maximize our train fares around Germany using the inner city transport. The room had a fantastic view and the location of the hotel is closed to big name shops and walkable distance to the town square. Truly a great stay. The restaurant opens till late and serves a generous portion too.
The Hotel has a great location, and the service overall is okay, not wonderful as other Hilton Hotels I have stayed in. Upon the check-in, no one mentioned anything of being a Hiltons Honor member or even offering free bottles of water. The staff at the restaurant, was friendly and super nice, and the bartender was the best of the best, however with the front desk, there is a huge language barrier. During my stay I requested to send someone to check my room, the shower area was not working, and not draining water. I had to go down to the front desk because the phone was impossible the whole time. The problem is that the shower was not comfortable, and I've complained about it three times, and nothing happen. Upon the check-in I've requested to charge, not to do a verification, because it was a debit, I've even requested to add a note on the file/reservation, to do a charge for three nights and on the following day to do a second charge for the rest of the stay, which it did happen as mentioned, however upon the checkout, while I was at the Airport I received a notification with the charge of the full stay, that was a double charge?? I have called the Hotel and it is just complicated, no the Front desk area is always busy.…
Ditto my husband's and my experience with vpford0859 !!! We were placed here by the Viking Cruise company bc he tested positive for Covid. First, I am VERY impressed by the Hilton company for agreeing to take at least 10 couples with Covid onto their premises. I would also like to praise them to the heavens for bringing us our Room Service food that was very good and plentiful! I am so glad I'm a Hilton Honors Member and can support such a great company! THANK YOU, HILTON!!!
It was the third time that I ve stayed in this hotel! Spacious, modern and comfort rooms! The breakfast is rich and with variety! Nice terrace next to a park! Located in the city center, which means that you can go to a lot of places on foot! Definitely one of the best choices in the area!
This is an affordable five-star experience for people who are looking for an affordable luxury. The location is perfect, the staff friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean. The breakfast area is pleasant.
My husband and I were placed here because while we were on a cruise and I supposedly contracted covid. It is a nice hotel and a huge dining area. Very clean also!! Would visit there again. In walking distance to alot of places
I saw the review of someone who commented on the fact that Hilton Frankfurt City center is a corona hotel and, as for myself, speaking as guest who tested positive on a River Cruise, and was sent here to this hotel until I record a negative test, I have a few comments from my side of things. First of all, as a covid guest, I cannot leave my room until I get a negative covid test. I call in to dining services for my meals, and they bring it to our door and knock, and then leave. they are not presesnt outside when we pick up the food and bring it in. If you are a regular guess, I can assure you that you are not in any danger. As far as 5 star experiences go, most likely is so for regular guests, but as a covid guest, I will tell you that for lunch and dinner, we get two choices for those meals, and neither of them are what I would consider to be five star choices...A choice between two kinds of plain pizza and the same dessert every nite is not what I would consider a five star experience. We will likely be here for at least 7 days with nothing to do. If one is a regular guest, you have SO many options, but as a covid guest, we have nothing to do but sit in our rooms. We thought we might be able to watch some TV, but unfortunately, while there are several choices on the tv, the only thing in English is Bloomberg Market Share. and there is nothing on tv that has english subtitles. Since we don't speak much German, not being able to watch movies or tv shows, and of course not being able to get out of the room, doesn't leave much to do. I expect I will die of depression before covid.LOL! . But for someone to complain about people being in the hotel because of a need for covid quarantining, please understand that quarantine is quarantine, no one who is positive is allowed to leave the room. Please have a little empathy, I'm not here by my choice, its the place that my River Cruise chose to isolate me and my husband, so that we could prevent spreading it to others, and allow us to go home soon. Now, my complaint about the hotel, is lack of good food choices for those of us who are being isolated, and no tv entertainment options to help pass what feels like to us, like 72 hour days. As you can see, for us it is not a five star experience, But no, you have nothing to worry about as far as covid goes, you will be safe, and can have that 5 star experience, while those of us on the 1st 2nd and 3rd floors are trying very hard to deal with 7-10 days with absolutely nothing to do. I rate it average, because I don't have access to anything.…
