Enjoy your stay in Frankfurt!
Mid range hotel in a good location, very friendly staff. The hotel was very quiet and the service was prompt. The receptionist was very knowledgeable of the area and gave practical and helpful tips for exploring the city. We felt very welcome here!
I stayed one night here after arriving at Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof. Flew home next day from the airport. The hotel is perfectly located for this purpose. And very reasonably priced. It’s a very nice, clean and updated hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was well-appointed, except for the lack of a kettle. Breakfast was about 11 euro and was just average. Lots of places to eat, but this is not a sightseeing area. Bahnhofsviertel is quite literally a train station neighborhood. I was fine with it, but would not stay out after 8:00. Front desk got me a taxi in the morning very quickly. The ride cost about 36 euro. I would stay here again.
This is my go to hotel when in Frankfurt. Very good value for money, attractive decor and friendly staff. The area around the train station in Frankfurt is really nasty, open drug deals going on and many risks of pickpocketing. Be very careful. This hotel is located just beyond the worst of it, but if you are of a nervous disposition stay elsewhere. I can't understand why the area isn't cleaned up by the police as it makes an awful impression on arrival in the city. Anyway, always happy with the hotel except my recent visit. The room I was in had an alarm of some kind going off every few minutes. It was impossible to locate where the alarm was coming from but seemed to be connected to the light in the ensuite bathroom. It may have been from a neighbouring room. Made sleeping difficult even with earplugs.…
The staff is welcoming, the cleanliness and facilities are nice, and (even though it’s located in an area close to the Frankfurt main station) it is on a quiet street and close to everything. The highlight is the charisma of the friendly and attentive staff.
Although the staff were pleasant enough, I really can't say anything else good about this hotel. The room was far too small for the price, I didn't like the scuffed wooden floorboards, and the wifi was terrible. Yes there are bars and restaurants around the corner but the noise goes on into the small hours and the area is very rough, with prostitutes and druggies hanging around outside and some very threatening men lurking in the background. I was dressed for business with a suitcase and laptop and was stared at by passers by several times on my walk to the station, like they were sizing me up for a mugging or were tempted to grab my laptop. I felt extremely uncomfortable. Sorry but if I go back to Frankfurt, it won't be this hotel or this district, which is little more than hell on earth, ever again.…
I just returned from this hotel, where I stayed 2 nights.. the location is good, near Mainhattan (financial district), shopping streets and a lot of restorants... the hotel is nice and clean... but the room is small..(1 floor).. the smallest room I have ever been ... the breakfast is very good, plenty of choices and very attentive waitress to refill with coffee or tea .. overall, I reccomend Victoria Hotel (if you don't mind very small rooms :))
This is a very good choice for a hotel within blocks of the main train station. It is an older building but completely renovated within. As a single visitor I had a single room which was small as I expected. But it was nicely decorated and had all the amenities I could ask for. The room was always spotlessly clean. The entire staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. My room was too warm for my liking and I wasn’t able to operate the thermostat. The young lady at the front desk was able to adjust the temperature from the front desk. And she did it all with a friendly smile. The buffet breakfast was excellent with both hot and cold items to choose from. I would definitely recommend this hotel if staying near the train station area.
A perfect stay in Frankfurt for a business Traveller.. the hotel is just 5 mins walk from Frankfurt Central station, Hauptbhanof which makes life convenient for a Traveller to move around the city using public transportation!!
Hotel rooms are nice, we had one for 3 people, we were not told until the next day that we had breakfast included, according to the person I spoke with their breakfast is included when you book a room. It was a basic breakfast. It was a nice hotel and we were able to get around.
Close to the main train station in Frankfurt, with lovely rooms and a fantastic breakfast, you cannot go wrong here! Front office staff are terrific, and can direct you in English or German as you wish. This was our first stop on a three-week tour by train of the Christmas Markets. We wanted a hotel close to the train station, and this was the perfect choice for us. We were able to walk to all of the markets, to the Palmengarten, to every place where we wished to eat. (We have been to Frankfurt many times.) We absolutely adored this hotel. Street noise does not bother us nor does the proximity to the Red Light District. If these do bother you, you may wish to look elsewhere.
