The room smelled of sewer off and on throughout the night. As we left the next morning, several employees were accompanying a airline captain to his room. One looked to be an engineer and a maintenance man so presumably, he had the same problem.
I was very concerned about earlier reviews on TA related to breakfast or lack thereof. I actually delayed booking a night’s stay until after receiving our negative covid test in Greece and until I was forced to enter a hotel name for our Germany paperwork. And of course the room price had risen significantly by the time I booked. The hotel was hard to find (horrible signage and airport staff seemed unaware of the hotel’s location. Once we found the hotel I must say I was impressed. The girl at checkin was so kind and welcoming, adding my Hilton # to the reservation, upgrading us to the executive floor and making a breakfast reservation. She even helped with internet access and directed us to a nearby area in the mall/train station for dinner. As a Hilton gold member the breakfast was complimentary. Because of covid the hotel serves your choice of breakfast items from a substantive menu (rather than a self-service buffet). Omelets and muesli were excellent and the coffee pot at the table was much appreciated. Room itself was spacious with both a tub and shower in the bathroom. A very classy Hilton!…
The Hilton at Frankfurt Airport might be my favorite hotel in the world. I last stayed here 3 years ago, and nothing has changed, in the best way possible. My king guest room was spacious, quiet, and exceptionally clean, and offered clear nighttime views of the Frankfurt skyline. The bedding was comfortable, and the rain-style shower had perfect pressure and temperature controls. Old-school luxuries like a phone in the bathroom complete the 5-star experience, all for hundreds of dollars less per night than one would pay at a major US hub. This is the best option for travelers who want to wake up well-rested for a morning flight out of Frankfurt.
The front desk was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Room was big and spacious and very clean. Breakfast was very good huge selection and fresh. For an airport hotel, this is the #1 hotel. The only drawback is The Executive lounge is run poorly the selection of appetizers on a scale of 1 to 10 was a 2 Booze was off-brand not what an Honors Diamond is looking for. I will stay here again.
As others have mentioned, this property is really hard to find the first time --just go to the long distance train station, but once you know where it is, you know! It checks all my boxes for an airport hotel- close to the airport (walking distance, no shuttle require), close to the train station (can't get any closer really), quiet, clean-- and I mean it was really clean!, and access to food- you can either stay in the hotel area which has a few restaurants on the second level or head back to the airport for even more options. We booked a family suite which consisted of two adjoining rooms with a small sitting area in our room. It was perfect for 2 adults and 2 teens. I would definitely stay at this Hilton again, especially since now I know how to find it!
I had to stay at the Hilton Frankfurt Airport Hotel one night on June 16 due to my flight being cancelled. During the check in, I paid an approval amount of 263.84 € (which includes the cost of the stay and any extra charges). The total amount of my stay was 217.84 € (VAT Invoice: 751173). During the check out, the hotel person said I would receive 46 € (the difference between the cost of my stay and the approval amount). Unfortunately the hotel has taken everything: 217.84 + 46 €. Since June I have sent a total of three emails and never got a reply whatsoever. This is unbelievable.
Wonderful location for night before flying home. Hotel is super modern, connected to Frankfurt airport (I believe terminal 1) and was steps away from Lufthansa baggage check in for our return flight home to US. We then proceeded baggage free to the main airport terminal and gates. Rooms are excellent. Modern bathrooms with both tub and shower. Comfortable beds and soundproof rooms (absolute silence). Bar is in the lobby and what looked like a very nice restaurant. S bahn train in terminal can take you downtown. Or pay 37 euros and take a cab. Baggage storage available. Check in 2 pm or earlier. Front desk staff friendly. Steps away from airport shopping (luxury, food options - Rewe grocery store at opposite end has a salad buffet take out option, also a mini store directly below hotel has chips, drinks, snacks, beauty products) Only drawback for some will be price (approximately $179 per room). There is also a Hilton Gardens in same building- literally steps away- maybe less for rooms? Honestly though after traveling for 2 weeks and really wanting quiet, nice place with an excellent location, this place can’t be beat!…
As to expect from airport-close facilities, this is a very expensive hotel. I've spent nearly €500 on a "Hilton King" for an overnight stay. The rooms have inferior, low-grade furniture, no style at all, the bathroom is equipped with mediocre care products (no vanity sets etc., so make sure you have everything you need at hand). Room-service was not offered during our stay, so we had to buy pizza and drinks from a downstairs airport store. I know this is not a place to book for a fun vacation in the first place, but even so, the prices do not justify a single thing here. On the positive side, the room was very quiet, the bed comfortable, and you couldn't even hear the aircraft or Autobahn close by.
Top notch and spacious rooms with contemporary furniture and decor. Bathroom is spacious and very nice as well. Everything seemed to be brand new or very well maintained. Location is very convenient - dozens of restaurants and cafes in the airport for a quick meal or snack. Taxis are available right outside the hotel. I will definitely stay here again during my next business trip!
I stayed here for 1 night because of an 18-hour layover. I liked that you can walk to the hotel from the terminal without going outside. Unfortunately, I was here during the heatwave and the entire train station building and the hotel lobby were incredibly warm. The staff was really great though. I was upgraded to an executive level room based on my diamond status. The room itself is very small, but it was fine. The bathroom was strange. There is a window into the bedroom that cannot be blocked, which could make things awkward if you are not alone. The shower/bathtub gets water everywhere. I went to the executive lounge during happy hour and they had packaged cold food. Apparently the hotel has a staffing shortage and the kitchen wasn't able to cook anything, and the restaurant wasn't even open for dinner. I ended up eating dinner at the German restaurant on the opposite side of the Squaire from the hotel. Breakfast in the restaurant was great though. Overall the hotel is fine for a quick stay.…
