Stayed for two nights with some friends....with 3 single rooms. The location is excellent, a short walk to the tram for central Frankfurt...A comfortable bed and a good shower contributed to our stay. We paid for breakfast one morning and at 5 euros it was good value with plenty of selection. I would gladly stay here again
Both our room and bathroom were comfortable enough and very clean. The receptionist was attentive and kind enough to make an effort to find us a room with air conditioning, since temperatures peaked around 39ºC during that whole week. Breakfast was good enough considering the prices involved, and although the hotel is far from the city centre there are supermarkets and good restaurants within walking distance.
This hotel was booked for us by the company that we work for so we didn't have a choice. The reviews that we have looked at so far are totally wrong. This hotel is clean, good value for money and located in a quiet area. The food in the bar / restaurant was great (we ate in there most nights) and great value for money. The staff are friendly and always on hand. The breakfast is something that I would expect whilst being in Europe but hey ho, mix it up a bit and have some gherkins for breakfast :) One complaint is paying for parking but there where places to park nearby but we had a van and needed it to be close by and safe. Well done to all. We are back in a week or so and I hope they book us into the Goethe again.
The hotel is in the middle of an industrial area with all the drawbacks. A look from the window makes you almost depressed. It is better to keep this same window closed to keep out the outside noise (day and night). The rooms are far too small and the beds too low. the bathroom was not clean and the mold was in the shower curtain. The lighting in the entire room including the bathroom did not work for half. The restaurant one must certainly avoid at all this is a complete disaster. The friendly staff of the restaurant can not make this good. Strangely enough, breakfast was good, but the space for that is far too small. Parking is a downturn in the area and on the private property costs € 10.00 per day. We have promised ourselves never to go here again.
