The staff here are really nice. From the moment you arrive to when you leave they are great. The hostel rooms are spacious with HUGE lockers under each bed (big enough to fit even my giant long term backpack) - the lockers also take your own lock so no mucking about with having to get a special one from reception....

Thanks a lot for the review! You are right, I thought exactly the same when I arrived in Frankfurt : "after one week I will have enough of this city". This day was 3 years ago ;) All the best and see you soon!

This hostel is very comfortable comparing with price. Breakfast is more than enough. Room and bed was quite comfortable. Toilets and showers are generally clean. Location is very central but be careful on the street.

Thank you for the nice comment! You are right, be careful on the street, actually be careful everywhere but enjoy it 100%! It goes the same here, nothing will ever happen to you if you use common sense, and you may even taste the best food in town and experience the trendiest bars and clubs of the city just a...

From the moment I entered the front door to the moment I was given my key and sent , happily, to my room; I was made to feel welcome, appreciated and valued. Five Elements Hostel is that rare combination of heart, soul and comprehensive hospitality. Every other hostel whether it be in Europe the Americas, United Kingdom or the Asia-Pacific...

The staff is indeed great, friendly and fun, especially to have some drinks with on the nice inner terrace. However, not much of a help when it comes to suggestions for places to visit. The hostel itself looks quite cozy and welcoming. We stayed in a nice-looking double room with private bathroom (though the shower doesn't have a full door...

Thank you for this review! You are right, cockroaches and rats are a very serious issue in big cities and we are doing everything we can to prevent these problems. As soon as we see that it goes beyond control we take big decisions such as blocking a whole floor to treat the rooms. Now, I understand this can be...

We only stayed one night because of a flight from Frankfurt in the morning. The hostel is super clean and the staff very friendly. Great common area and lots of activities provided. Good for solo traveler as well to meet other people. The district is a little dodgy because of all the strip clubs but I didn't feel unsafe or...

Thank you Saaaaaaaaarah for your review! I am happy you recommend to give it a go! Once again about the location, it is NOT dangerous! It just looks a bit special but you risk nothing. You would even miss great things to do around the hostel if you did not try. Make sure you ask the reception to get the...

Clean rooms, friendly staff, cheap alcohol (2 for 1 between 7-8pm), dodgy location but really close to the station and the town Bathrooms and showers really clean and modern. Good room size also. Great events at the hostel each night.

Nice location but the reception was really crowded; staff aren't dressed decently which gives a feeling the don't care about customers. The toilets, bathrooms are very clean and that's a great point. Would recommend to anyone not willing to spend money in a hotel or on a short stop over in Frankfurt.

Hi Adam! Thanks a lot for the nice review! And sorry that you did not like the look of my receptionists! Believe me, they are allowed to dress as they want (but not to come naked ;) ) in order to feel free and relaxed, so that they can provide the best service possible, and in the end help you...
