We had two nights here in a series of four nights on tour through this area of Germany. This was a lovely way to start. Our hostess was friendly and kind, our room was spacious, and the breakfast was great. I had a little throat issue on the second morning, and she made me some ginger tea without my even...

I only had the opportunity to stay for 1 night, but it was very comfortable. I was travelling alone, so I booked a budget single room. It was a small room, but I expected that because the size was listed on the website. Nonetheless, it had a comfortable bed, and a clean ensuite bathroom. When I checked in, I was...

Charming hotel in a lovely residential area. A short distance to center city and the university. The rooms are well appointed and every detail is carefully conceived and executed. The owner is warm, personable, and speaks English flawlessly. A thoroughly enjoyable five nights.

This is a nice small family run hotel which is very close to a bed & breakfast. It is conveniently located just off the town center and not fat from the railway station, it is a good base for moving around the region. The infrastructure and the rooms are basic but very tidy and efficient. Beds are comfortable and rooms...

I have now stayed in this hotel three times for business over the past 3-4 years. Each and every time, the stay was great. The rooms were clean, everything in the room worked, the beds were comfortable, the showers had good pressure and temperature control, the breakfast was more than adequate, and the owners were quite friendly and helpful. It's...

This is a small family run hotel which is clean and welcoming. The breakfast is well stocked for such a small hotel, but above all this the welcome was great, and the service was super. The common areas are nicely decorated and there are interesting artefacts and pictures. On a rainy evening the owner came up to me as I...

I stayed here for a EUMETSAT meeting I had in Darmstadt. The room was clean, everything in the room worked, the bed was comfortable, it was quiet at night, the staff (owners?) were great, the breakfast was well stocked, the price was good, and the location was only a 20 minute safe walk from where I needed to be. Also,...

We chose this hotel because it is near to where our son lives. It is just to the south of the city centre. getting in and out of the centre is easy with nearby trams. The hotel is on a main road but our room was quiet at night, the rooms at the front would be a bit noisier but...

It's been a while since I returned from a business trip in Germany. It was to be my first time there, but certainly not the last. Due to the fact my company was to have me spread out all over Europe for a about a month, let's just say some of the accommodations were less than stellar, with the exception...
