Durty smoky and old food left in the room. Said no smoking but the room smelled so much smoke that our kids could not have it. Noicy with people sitting outside. drinking and smoke every where . The reception boy nice but had no power to do anything.
Nice little motel with clean rooms, staff didn't speak that much English but it worked out fine. Location is great and just a 5 minute walk from the subway. Parking was good as well, all rooms are on ground level so you can park pretty much right outside your room. There were lots of plants which was a nice touch!
The motel has a cozy nice atmosphere. The courtyard was beautiful and the plants gave it almost a tropical feeling. We came by car so the parking was much appreciated. It lies close to a LIDL and a train station that goes straight to Hamburg Central. The downsides were that the receptionist wasn't that good in English but with some basic German we could fill in the blanks. Another thing we noticed was that the sound isolation wasn't that good. You could in the room hear other people outside talking. But nonetheless, the room exceeded our expectations, especially when we think about how much we paid for it. I would personally recommend this to almost anyone. Meaby not families with small children.
We are a family on 5 visiting Hamburg in Easter 2017, and booked the motel21 for two nights. Huge room with 3 beds and a smaller room with a connecting door. We purchased breakfast for two days. The big room was OK the small smelled of smoke. No hot water the first morning, and the breakfast was more or less not a breakfast. We came 50 minutes before closure of the breakfast, but no milk for the cereals, the jam shelves were more or less empty, and no juice and a coffee that not was warm. It states that it has parking included, but there were a lot of cars when we were there, and we had to park on the street the two nights we had. Accept that there are a lot of noises from the parking lot. But if you skip the breakfast and can accept to park in the street, the Motel rooms, cleaning and atmosphere were OK.…
we stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and it was very close to Raus haus railway station and Penny super market. This Hotel is located in very quiet surrounding with wake up call from birds chirping. The towels and bed-sheets were so very clean. The room was small for 3 people but was OK with all the facilities provided, private bathroom was quite small with very clean utilities and hot jazucci. Hotel was very professionally managed that we didn't have anything to ask from the desk.
