Very comfortable modern rooms. Price wise their service I must appreciate. Clean and quiet, breakfast is good but don't expect full English breakfast but continental breakfast is fine. Internet is very good it's free and everywhere you can get good signal. Staff are nice very helpful. Place is really awesome by walking main train station and near by many more shopping centers as well as restaurants .For three star, this is a good hotel. Recommended 🇩🇪👍

We required a bed for one night, close to the central/main railway station. This hotel was nicely priced, including breakfast, and right across of the main railway station Hamburg Hauptbahnhof. The room was about as big as the bed, it made me smile. The one hard matras was positioned 90° of what you would have expected it to be. So the nightstands were at your head and feet. The room was clean, it contained a closet, a small safe, hangers for a coat, small TV (which we didn't try), bottle of water (€4) and two glasses. One remark, the rooms are not very sound proof. We heard neighbors come and go. The bathroom contained a shower, toilet, sink, hairdryer, some towels, two glasses, soap & shower gell. Breakfast was nice. Both elevators are about 1 square meter small. But at least they have one :) Basically, all you need for a night (or a few). Therefor I'd go here again if I needed a room next to the railway station (we had to continue our journey the next morning by train).

The good thing about this hotel is that it is about 10 steps from the central station. That must be the main reason why they have such prices. Despite being a great location because of the station it's also a bad location because there's a bunch of sketchy people around it. The hotel is old and it needs some refurbishment. The staff could be a bit more nicer, the receptionist who made our check in didn't even explained us that from the 2 elevators they have only one of them would go to the 6th floor where our room was. So, unluckily, not knowing this we took the elevator that only went to the 5th and had to go by stairs to the 6th with our luggage. We only noticed that one of the elevators went to the 6th floor on the last day because the door to that elevator was hiding behind a wall in a corner. The breakfast was ok but it was really weird to have a bedroom in the middle of the breakfast room, so we were eating and seeing people going in and out of their room with their stuff visible to anyone eating there. The walls of the bedrooms were paper thin, there was a night that I could hear the people in the room next to ours as if they were talking in our bed. The worst thing about everything was finding a stain in the sheets only on the next morning, it was very likely a blood stain and a big one and the sheets weren't changed, so the next night I had to sleep over the sheets to not touch that stain. Overall everything gave weird vibes and I was never comfortable. Wouldn't recommend.

We recently spent 6 days, five nights in Hamburg and stayed at this hotel. First off, we new what we booked so we werent expecting luxury. But surprisingly it was much better than we thought it would be. We wanted something inexpensive so we booked the smallest class of room. It had a very compy queen size bed, a small wardrobe and a place for putting our two mid-size suitcases. If we had taken large cases it might have been a problem. But as it was and seeing that we are both not exactly giants there was enough space for everything. The bathroom was small but very modern and very very clean. Our room and bathroom was cleaned every day. We also got as many clean towels as we wanted and our sheets were changed at least once in the five nights we were there. We were on the 5th floor and had a big fenster which we could open but of course being directly opposite the main railway station means you have noise all night. I am a light sleeper so for me it was a problem as it was also very hot last week. My wife could sleep next to the runway when Concorde takes off and wouldnt wake up. The rest of the hotel was very clean and tidy. Having worked previously as a mystery shopper makes me look extra carefully if everything is clean, and in this case I have to give them a big thumbs up. The breakfast room is on the first floor and was als very clean. The breakfast is simple but there is more than enough and the staff are very quick in replenishing anything which runs out. The hotel seems very popular with elder guests but there were also a lot of younger English speaking guests. Everyone at the reception speaks English (although I also speak fluent German so it didnt matter to me). The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us a number of tips of where to go and what to see. The location opposite the main station may not be everyones cup of tea but it was great for us. But the S1 train from the airport brings you almost to the door. We bought the Hamburg Card for five days and travelled with that all over the city and also a little bit further out.

We had a booking to meet friends in Hamburg, but the friends had a problem so we tried to move the booking, not cancel, just move by a week. There was no flexibility by the hotel staff, in fact they were rude and abrupt. Couldn't recommend the service at all. I know the booking conditions said we couldn't change, but it was the Jazz Festival and they could have re-let the room. Wouldn't risk using this hotel, or chain again.
