This hotel is very close to a U Adenauerplatz station, in a quiet area of Berlin. Breakfast varied and good. Very friendly staff. The large room without air conditioning, but it was not necessary. It is located close to restaurants, cafes and mini markets.

The ideal location for a two or three day visit to Berlin. Right on the Kurfurstendam, one of the finest shopping streets in Europe, less than one hundred yards from Adenaurplatz ubahn station, and many buses stop right outside the hotel. Buffet breakfast is more than substantial and rooms are comfortable, superb showers and lots of towels etc. If there...

Great location near both metro and multiple buses. Staff went above and beyond to help us (big group) when we arrived at 3am, and also during our entire stay. Good breakfast. Wifi needs improvement as per May 2015.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in December, to visit the Christmas markets. The only positive thing about this hotel is that is on the Ku'damme so very close to one of the best parts of the city and within easy reach by public transport to most parts of the city. The hotel is on a...

We were supposed to be in Berlin for a weekend, but due to unforeseen circumstances could not travel. The staff was helpful enough to transfer our booking w/o any fuss to the next week. When we reached there, they again allowed us to checkin before time which was great. The room itself was large for a double room and it...

Let's start with the price. The hotel is relatively cheap for the location it has in Berlin. The Street (Kurfurstendam) is very nice, with restaurants, fancy shops, and well communicated with publis transportation. Apart from that, I didn't like the hotel. I discover it has specialized in groups of young students (generally German students). This makes it a bit noisy...

The location is pretty useful to transport links for both the UBahn & SBahn as well the shopping street with the usual suspects like an Apple store, Starbucks etc,. if that's what you need and there are useful shops on the doorstop including two supermarkets, one of which is open late. The breakfast buffet is well stocked and the choice...

We picked this hotel because it was part of a "bargain city break", The reception is on the first floor, the actual rooms on the fourth floor of an apartment block (it works fine). Not all of the rooms are like the ones in the brochure but ours was spotlessly clean, comfortable and we had a good hot shower, plus...

Its a good and clean hotel in the centre of Berlin. A simple but yet nice and cosy hotel. The breakfast is ok and the staff friendly and helpful. Big + that the U-bahn station was very close located, the bus stop aswell. Simple but clean, good value for the money! Would stay here again.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
