Perfect location. All tourist attractions are clouse to motel. Very good and attentive staff. The motel is very clean and cozy, the breakfasts are delicious. Will recommend to friends and will definitely return to this motel myself. Thanks you :*
Profesional hotel - quick check in and out. It has a reasonable price for such a central location. The rooms are very small but have the basic things. Breakfast is good and and manu bio etc. stuff. It is almost inside a large Berlin shopping mall from where you can most things you might need, including a can of beer that you can sip in your small hotel room.
Hotel is located inside a big shopping Mall of Berlin which is useful and all kinds of transportation are very close. Check in and out is very quick and stuff is very polite and friendly. We asked for different arrangements of rooms after the first night and they arranged for us to move to other rooms that fitted us better. Rooms are quite small and very simple. No closet for wardrobe, just few hangers to put your cloth on. Shelves are available on one side of the bed only. No mini bar fridge, not even a single glass in the room nor in the toilet (when we asked we got a few paper glases). Toilet is small but comfy and it had hand soap, shower gel and hairdryer. No balconies. Very clean. Breakfast is good, a lot of bio and organic food offered. Coffee was nice and it was very convenient that within breakfast price you can have espresso too. Should the room were a bit better equipped it would have been a clear 5. This way I will go for 4 😀…
I wouldn’t stay anywhere else! The hotel is located in the Berlin Mall near the Sony Centre and Potsdamer Platz (Berlin Wall exhibited at the Platz) so you have stop 3 on the hop on/hop off buses, a large metro station, 20 minutes walking distance from Friedrichstraße station and easy walks to Reichstag, Memorial to the Jews, Brandenburg Gate, Topographie, The Wall, Gendarmenmarkt. The hotel itself ; rooms are cozy and are the right size for never really being in them, the beds are super comfy and a king is 2 singles with individual duvets. Linens were super clean and fresh, the rooms were spotless. Bathrooms are a good size and you get shower / shampoo and hand wash. (Organic and vegan) The only thing missing was tea / coffee facilities and the bar only serves hot drinks until 11 pm. We got around this with our own stash of fruit teas and just asked for hot water in a mug, which they happily provided. The hotel bar ...is gorgeous! The staff were friendly, helpful and happy to chat about distances and best ways to reach places. They were good fun! The drinks are a great price at €7 a cocktail, €2.50 for tea or coffee or hot chocolate. There isn’t food here but you can get nibbles. The rooms views that we had were really big windows and so the rooms were lovely and light and airy. Hotel staff are great! Helpful, kind, speak to you in English when your German isn’t coming out so good and most of all it’s hassle free and easy. The shops and cash machines in the Mall are great for supplies and also breakfast. (We didn’t have the hotel breakfast so can’t comment) Check out is 12 noon on a Sunday - a bonus , and you can leave your luggage with a tag on at the hotel. We will definitely be going back to this hotel!…
Berlin is pretty pricey for accommodation, but Motel One was spot on for value, especially given its central location. The rooms are warm and cosy, the bathroom is a decent size and the shower is good. The bar area is very cosy with a good selection, and all the staff we spoke to at either the bar or the reception were lovely, really friendly. We had breakfast in the hotel one morning. Breakfast wasn't included for us but for ease we went on the first morning - at 11€ I don't think it's good value as there are lots of cheaper cafés nearby. The quality was good though.
