Cheap, cosy and good location nearby the both city center and airport. This was our last stop before flight. Hotel located beside a main road, but it was still very peaceful place. Hotel clerk were helpful and friendly. Room was big enough but a bathroom was quite small. We didn't take breakfast because of our early flight.

First, even though it says it's a non-smoking place, it was extremely smoked!! 5 mins spent in the room and all your clothes smells terribly smoked. Shocking! Second, we (there were 3 of us, my parents and I) got a different room from what we booked: instead of 3 single beds we got a bunk bed! What is it, a...

While visiting Berlin just after a terrorist attack, at Christmas no less, is not ideal, the Arktur Hotel was clean and accommodating! The room was in the new building, large (3 person), and had great windows and we had no issue with the heating or anything. No phone, fridge, or clock in the room, which was an issue since at...

Arktur hotel is a 5minute walk from the underground (U7).We stayed for 3 nights at the new building. The room was quite small but clean and our towels were changed daily. Good wifi and breakfast was included. However, we didin’t like that we had to pay extra 10euros because we lost the keycard.

We just came back from Berlin, where we staid for 2 night at this hotel. We booked the hotel 1-2 months ago. Some days before our trip we read some reviews and we noted that the hotel has 2 buildings-an old one and a new one. The reviews on the old building rooms were poor. Called the hotel to get...

What you see on the webside and what you get in reality - 2 different places to stay. More hostel than hotel, which is fine, but say it. Very worn-out room with lot of dust and not clean bathroom. Very poor wifi, breakfast standard. Good connection downtown.

The room is very basic, clean and comfortable and of decent size. Great location; just opposite to the bus stop and a 4-5 min walk from the metro station. The neighboring street has parking spaces; the hotel parking has very small number of parking spaces and costs extra 7 euro per day. Breakfast is included and good. Free wifi in...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
