The women at the front desk in the morning and the young man were so accommodating and friendly. They speak great English but also when I wanted to practice my German were very patient and let me get the words out. We had some issues such as sudden warm weather 80 degrees and my friend from the U.S. needed a fan in her room or the AC turned on in the conference room (seasonally the AC is officially off in most hotels here). And I forgot my Parfum and called from the airport and they called me back immediately that housekeeping found it and will help me get it shipped to the States. Thanks for a very nice stay.
Great location, warm welcome staff, English speaking, fabii services (airport transfer), lovely breakfasts, very clean, working wifi. Close to shops, some bars/restaurants. One thing: we got two single beds put together instead double one? We need to ask next time. Thank you.
I stay at the Dorint regularly because it is conveniently located near a customer of my company. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are nice, but don't hope for much more. For a business hotel, it falls short in most areas. There is no clothes iron in the room, no refrigerator to keep water in, and the room service menu is very limited. But worst of all, the internet is unusable in the evenings, probably due to multiple simultaneous users. During the day it is fine, but the advertised free internet might as well not exist in the evening. A suggestion from me would be to focus on business customers. Add a paid option to the net for those who need to work in the evening.
Room is as described. It is a typical business hotel with practical rooms. Being in Berlin the value for money is good. It is very close to airport Schönefeld, just 3 stations by train. The breakfast was good, quite big sortiment. I can highlight the cheeses. If your room looks to the street it is quite noisy, I wasn't able to sleep with opened windows because of the tram. As it is business hotel it would be greet to put a little safe into the rooms. Also a small fridge would be welcome.
Stayed here for several nights on a business trip to visit a company a short distance from the hotel. Can recommend if you have some business next to the hotel and do not want/have time for much more than that. I rate this as a pretty basic business hotel. No safe in room, no fridge. Room is small, bed is not very comfortable. No real closet space, even if I dont need much. Breakfast had good selection and generally was quite excellent. Wifi is free but the connection quality is very poor. The train station (S-bahn or whatever they call it) is some 500+ meters away. It is 5-10 minutes walk. Train to downtown takes a while. Maybe 20-30 mins. Since this is mainly a business district, the area is pretty much dead during evening/night. If you are in any way prone to disliking walking empty streets in the dark, maybe not your neighbourhood. Probably very safe but there are some strange people near the train station as usual. There is a supermarket across the street to buy basic stuff but that is about it. A few small restaurants, and a few more across on the other side of the restaurant. Had a dinner at the hotel restaurant, nothing special to write home about, but keeps you fed fine. The aircon/heating system was a bit off and loud. Did not bother me much, but with the bed and that, I did not sleep so great. Bathroom is small and basic but does the job. Did not have much to deal with the staff but they were ok when I did. There is a small gym on the first floor. Just keep turning left and at the end of the corridor, and on your left it is.…
This hotel is a 3 stars, but on my opinion It should be a 4 stars. Very quiet, modern, clean, rich breakfast and kind personnel. I arrived late in The evening, they were waiting for me and the room was perfect. Even the restaurant is Very good with a rich selection of several dishes
Stayed a night while holidaying in Berlin. Nice room size, clean and bright. Reasonable bathroom size, clean & ordour free. Breakfast was good with reasonable spread. Love their coffee blend and variety of juices & smoothies. Very huge reception area with table soccer and a huge piano. Had a good experience in this small hotel and also purchased a souvenir teddy bear.
Fairly new hotel a short walk from Adlershof station. Room & bathroom is a good standard but there is no fridge in the room and quite some noise from the road outside and the rail nearby, why I had to sleep with earplugs. Breakfast was ok.
Stayed for 1 night in september. The hotel must be less than 10 years old. Continental breakfast with a good selection of food. Friendly staff. The hotel neighborhood is largely officebuildings and hotels. Clean and quietly. S-bahn station 500 meters from the hotel.
I stayed here recently on a business trip and it was perfect for my needs. Close to Adlershof Train station (direct line in from the airport). While Adlershof doesn't have a lot going on there are a couple of restaurants near the hotel. The reception staff were welcoming and checking in and out was a speedy affair. The room itself was spacious and had all the things you would expect to find. The bed was large and comfortable and since this is a quiet neighbourhood and hotel I slept like a log. A great shower in a good sized and immaculate bathroom - couldn't ask for much more. Dining - I had breakfast each morning and there was plenty of choice, hot and cold buffet with all the good things you would expect to find. One tip, they have gluten free bread but you have to ask for it. They also have decaf coffee in a jar on top of the machine. Dinner was also good. The steaks are good and I also had a burger one evening - they do sweet potato fries if you like that sort of thing. This is really convenient for the science park that I was visiting. It's about 20 minutes from the centre of Berlin but there are trams passing by the hotel frequently and also the trains nearby. I'll be back.…
