We stayed at the eight man apartment for 3 nights at the end of June. The accommodation was excellent, very clean large enough for 8 adults to enjoy and not be on top of each other. The apartment is in a good location. As other reviews have stated you pick your keys from a different location so be mindful of...

When I booked this accommodation back at the end of 2015 I wondered what the catch would be. It was surely too cheap to be good. But no... I booked two apartments, for 12 people in total. They were a floor apart. Each apartment had 5 single beds and two single sofa beds. They are ridiculously spacious with two bedrooms;...

We travel to Berlin to see Adele at the Mercedes Benz arena, on the 8th of May. Since we were a party of 4, accommodation was a challenge. It is difficult to fine a hotel room, which is comfortable for 4, at a reasonable price, so for the first time, we choose an apartment. We found an apartment in Booking.com,...

After coming to Berlin in 2015 for Berlin carnival I was unimpressed by my stay at the NH Postdamer Platz, not only were the staff rude and unclear but the hotel tried to con us into paying a fine because they thought we were ignorant tourist, fast forward a year and my stay at OTA couldn't have been any better....

Stayed in a large family apartment with 2 friends so we all could have a bedroom each. The apartment is light (more on this later) and spacious and fairly well equipped. The apartments were easy to find from the office and we took a taxi from the airport to the office. Looking back we should have just used public transport...

These apartments may not suit everyone, however, if you want to discover what it was like to live in Berlin pre-unification then these are a great start. They are located in the old 'east' - very central, right beside a U-Bann stop. Also very close to a lot of sights. The apartments are large, spacious and clean. Be warned -...

My family of 7 stayed here on our recent trip to Berlin. We arrived in Berlin quite late at night which was past office hours for check-in. All we had to do was give the after hours staff member a 45 minute warning prior to our arrival and they would meet us at the apartment. We unfortunately ran into some...

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
