The location of the hotel is great! Neat neighborhood, a fantastic döner place across the street, at least two great breakfast places. Close to the subway and a ten-fifteen minute walk, or one station with the subway, is a tram station. South of the Karl Marx allee there is the area around Boxhagener which is a great place for breakfast...

I made a bad choice. I chose “Insor Hotel” which is open only from 2:00pm to 8:00pm. Unheard-of… Even though I paid for this hotel, I had to go and get another one... Next day I arrived around 3:00pm. I tried to talk with receptionist but she did not speak any English at all. She spoke German but I don't…...

I used to work as a tour guide and have seen alot of different hotel rooms. This is a OK place to stay in for the low price and for let's say 3-4 nights. Clean, free WiFi(almost never get it for free in other places), and a helpful staff. They didn't speak English but tried to help anyway. Close to...

Horrible stay! Had a plague of insects in my room just the first night I was there and had to leave. The receptionist didn't even speak English so she didn't understand, and she wouldn't give me another room or refund me my money. Finally a couple of days after I returned and they did refund the money of the days...

Receptionist speaks zero English and is completely unhelpful and slow. She made a mistake with the booking and tried to overcharge me. She then tried to put me in another hotel because there "weren't any other rooms available" despite my booking. Half an hour later of me sitting like a muppet in the small reception room she had magically found...

Well, since I paid Euro 31.50, for a night in Berlin, I can't complain I suppose. Location was acceptable. It's a micro room, very bad linen. The pillow and Duvet were really below par, quite ordinary. The bathroom basin was 5 inch wide one, hard to keep the water inside. Lots of cafes and restaurants around. The check-in was easy...

I've stayed in this pension 3-4 times and been happy with it every time. First time it was very outdated but the staff were nice. The last time I visited (2013 spring) they had updated the decorior and the staff spoke English. Also the rooms had been updated, it also explains the price changes. I could stay here every time...

Great if you're looking for a bed at a really cheap price. Our bedroom included a bathroom, so please, don't compare it to hostels! Wifi didn't worked at all, let's say Berlin is really bad about wireless lan, but whatever. Really close to the underground line, and the street is really cute and full of nice places to have food!

this is not a hotel, it's a pension. very simple place, but clean. The internet conection work really well. the biggest problem, which I consider really really bad, is the smell on this place. The mattress are too soft, and also not comfortable. I would not recomend this place, I'm sure there are some better options.

This is a good place to stay on a budget. The place was clean and pretty central, only a few stops from Alexanderplatz. There are plenty of bars and places to eat within walking distance in the district of Friedrichshain. We were give our key and reception seemed to close pretty early so it's basically like having your own place....
