Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.

This is the WORST hotel I have ever been to! I live in France and my family and I choose this hotel only for one night (We where going to Poland). The visit was pretty good but that's not the problem. When we leave, I forgot my rings in the room, but we were already on the road,

We stayed here with 2 children and 2 adults. It was such an amazing hostel I’ve often recommended it to people.
The staff are friendly, WiFi is good, breakfast is delicious and the rooms are spacious and clean.
We had a room with 5 single beds in it which was perfect for us.

I am arriving by plane at 8 am May 29 - can you please tell me best way to get to hotel from airport - and may I store my luggage or have early check-in?
If you arrive at Schonefeld Airport, take from outside the airport (just a few minutes' walk) the commuter train S9 towards S. Bernau Bhf, and get off at the 13th stop which is Greifswalder Str. Cross the road and take the tram M4 towards Hackerscher Markt and at the 2nd stop, Hufelandstr, get off. The Hotel Transit Loft will only be a few minutes' walk from the tram stop. At the hotel there are several lockers (small and large ones), in case it is too early for the check-in. Trust the above answers your question.

"ask for penthouse rooms."
"Avoid the third floor (reception). Doors banging, etc. Ask for 4 or 5."
"My best tip to find a decent room is to go to another hotel and never set foot in this place."
"Corner rooms large"
