Had a trip with my friend. This hotel is really cheap and location we found very comfortable.
About 30min with train from Berlin Schönefeld airport, 10 min with subway to the city center. Just excellent! A lot of shops, restaurants, bars in walking distance.

This hotel is all that you need for your trip in berlin!great location near to transport stations, easy access to the airport train (S9..)spacious clean rooms, plenty of bars and restaurants on a short walk distance, loved the stay there.no faulses.
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit
buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.

There are some bars within reasonable walking distance and night life seems pretty good around the area. I can’t recall the name of a place I went back in 2013, as this past trip last month we spent more time in Alexanderplatz area, however the hotel staff can direct you to the “bar/eatery” spots. Even then public transportation like the S Bahn or U Bahn can take you all over Berlin quickly and very economically. Hope this helps answer your question. Enjoy your time in Berlin.
