I stayed in Circus for 3 nights. The beds are cosy, the rooms are warm, the showers are excellent, the staff are fantastic, the setting is funky, the location is perfect and the bar is AWESOME!

Complete and delicious breakfast, clean and functional bathrooms, large bedrooms with good optimization of the space, bar with microbrewery and one of the most delicious beers that I've drank. All in a good location with well prepared staff.
However, the hostel doesn't have a kitchen,...More
Such a great place to stay! The hostel was very clean and the room was good though there wasn't a locker to lock up all my stuff, just valuables. Not sure if that is the case with every room but something worth mentioning. The keycard...More

We travel a group of 4 friends and had a great experience in the hostel. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean, staff was polite and the location was perfect. Near Alexanderplatz and Tram station just infront of it.
This hostel is very noisy. Most of the guests will stay up talking in the hallways of the hostel until 6/7am. At around 10am the cleaner will arrive and start cleaning the communal areas also making lots of noise. If you want to sleep well...More

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
I borrowed an iron and ironing board at The Circus Hotel opposite and I'm sure you can borrow it at The Circus Hostel too, really great hostel. I stayed there twice. I especially recommend room 317 as It's for two people... More
