Very nice rooms, furnishings a bit old and a bit dusty (I'm allergic, so I had to sneeze often, but not too bad). A lot of space for two people and nice things in minibar. Couldn't darken room properly with those blinds and curtains. Breakfast room is very nice and buffet great. Location excellent and friendly staff.

The hotel is in a good location just of the K'dam and only approx a ten minute walk from the rail station which is also very handy when travekking about. The hotel rooms were very clean and spacious. I had made the booking for a triple room but for some reason the hotel had decided that it was probably two...

We found the hotel by accident through booking.com. We booked the suite with a spa bath and did not know what to expect when we arrived as it was a 3* hotel. However we were not disappointed; the hotel provided us with a parking permit and we had no issues with parking in the street outside the hotel. The staff...

My husband and I were in Berlin visiting friends. Their apartment was too small so they booked us a room at the Augusta Hotel just a couple of blocks from them. What a wonderful little hotel! The room was pretty and comfortable with down pillows and comforters. It faced onto a courtyard full of trees and flowers and was quiet...

I enjoyed my 3-night stay at this lovely hotel. My single room was nicely decorated and spotless, and had a bright, modern bathroom. The view to a rear courtyard with budding trees was pleasing and quiet. The breakfast was bountiful, elegantly presented and delicious. The receptionist was gracious. The location was great, right off the Ku-Damm and convenient to all...

I hate to begin a review like this, and generally my reviews are positive ones. I always checked 10 times the details and verify with all the blogs that exist before choosing a place. So we reserved this hotel as a birthday trip for my husband's 50th birthday for 7 nights. The first 2 nights were alright the hotel is...

The much maligned stairs were not an issue for us as we were given a room around the corner from reception. Though you do have the steps at the entrance to contend with. To be fair, most of the places we have stayed in have had at least 5 stairs. But a ramp may be helpful alternative. The hotel itself...

Located just a few meters from the Uhlandstrasse metro station. You can access anywhere in Berlin without taking care of weather, whether it is cold, windy or really hot. Rooms are nicely designed, taking care of the original atmosphere of the old building. Reaching our room was a bit tricky, had to go upstairs with our luggage and breakfast could...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
