I stayed in Berlin for 1 night and really liked this place. It's close to the ubahn station and you can easily reach everything from there. The atmosphere is nice there. Everything is pretty clean. So if you doubt, stay there - you'll like it)

We stayed for 2 nights on the 5th floor. For breakfast and maybe a cocktail at night you go up in the 6th floor to the bar which actually has quite a nice view. Pros: - The one good thing that you can say about the hostel is that it is quite central; 5-10 minute walk to Alexanderplatz. - Every...

I stayed here for 3 nights with two of my friends and we had an okay time. The hostel required you to pay for wifi which is a bummer, but it works just fine. There is no real common area, kitchen, or lounge area, making this place feel more like a hotel than a hostel. The bedrooms were nice and...

Best and great idea for solo travel or a group of young people to visit the historical city in Europe for a few days. The location are perfect, either for shopping or visiting famous attractions by walk or bike. Impressive idea for limited budget traveler.

This hostel was nice and clean, which is something I always looks for. The staff were also helpful if you needed anything. Wifi codes had to be bought for 24 hours but were only a couple of euros. We stayed on the top floor which is where the bar is located so we were worried about the noise, as it...

My objective review: The Good: Hostel is located close to Alexanderplatz if that's your preferred area. The hostel shower has good water pressure and it stays hot. Good beds, clean rooms. The not so Good: (2) outlets in each room. Wifi is €1per 24 hours. Reception is not personal and interactive with guests, but cold like unhappy hotel receptionist. The...

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hostel during our inter-railing trip. We had a fantastic time. The rooms were very large and very clean (I loved the country themes), with lovely views (ours was of the Berlin telephone tower). The shower and bathroom facilities were great, however the hostel could probably do with a few more toilets per floor...

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.

“If you have the option is staying in a room with less people in I would go for that. 8 people in one of the small rooms wasn't too pleasant, and you've more chance of having access to plug sockets and storage space in a less-populated room there.”
