Typical German efficiency from all staff. Multi-lingual staff everywhere. Hotel immaculate inside. Magnificent fish tank inside that has to be seen to be believed. Good breakfast had by us. Spa good and very clean. Happy to recommend it.

I had a great time in this hotel. I took the business room, and got a room with beautiful view of the cathedral. Breakfast was excellent, with a lot of variety yo shoose from. It was a special experience to see the giant aquarium in the lobby.

I really enjoyed my stay, although I didn't use as many of the facilities as I'd planned- Berlin was so great we were out all the time! Staff were very friendly and helpful, everyone spoke English, but allowed me to try out my basic German! The main selling point though was the breathtaking aquarium, I would never tire of that...

My wife and I stayed in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Berlin for three nights from the 3rd February 2017 and were extremely happy with the service we got from every member of staff. The hotel is beautifully laid and in an excellent location very close to Alexanderplatz railway station and other transportation as well as many city centre amenities....

A spacious lobby with a modern bar area overlooked by an amazing fish tank the size of an aquarium. A pleasant place to sit and enjoy a glass or two of vino. Restaurant food is freshly prepared in an open kitchen, we had an excellent meal priced approx 15€ to 20€ for a main course. Staff all friendly and helpful....

We stayed here for 4 nights over NYE. As soon as you walk into this hotel you are stunned by the biggest aquarium it's amazing! The rooms are nice, fairly basic but with views of the all the tropical fish you could be in a box and still feel relaxed. The staff was all lovely at the hotel and made...

The hotel was very easy to find from Alexanderplatz station and was ideally located for walking to the main sites in the city. Plenty of nearby options for evening meals as well. Nice room which was certainly value for money.

The hotel is beautiful, it has a giant aquarium in the middle and a bar at the bottom so it's very nice to have a drink there. The hotel is great located if you want to visit all the museums, Memorial to the murdered jews, Branderburg gate.... I totally recommend it.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
