Strolling around, shopping, fine dining and partying: visitors to Berlin can expect true metropolitan culture in the City West area surrounding the red brick church on the Ludwigkirchplatz. Centrally located, this charming hotel will allow its guests to reach all cultural institutions, and any entertainment or shopping destinations within no time. The glamour paradise, Kurfürstendamm, is not far off, and countless cafés, international restaurants, exclusive boutiques and Jugendstil antique stores surround the hotel. Seventy modern and generously sized guest rooms offer neat and comfortable furnishing with modern technology, like free WiFi throughout the hotel and Zenology spa products. Benedict, the 24/7 breakfast restaurant on the ground floor and the small cafe in the lobby round off this charming residence. Dogs are welcome, too.

We have loved the whole stay. The hotel is nicely decorated, the room is clean, the breakfast is top. The position makes it easier to reach the centre or anyway the U-Bahn or the S-Bahn. Being so close to the Ku'damm, this can be reached also on foot in 10-15minutes. The staff is very friendly and talk english. We will surely stay there again.

I am very impressed by the warm attitude I met in this place. You made me feel at home in the hotel. Room was clean, bed - big and comfortable. But best of all I liked the basketball hoop and a ball in the room. Good idea!

As we previously had a good stay in Max Brown Dusseldorf, we anticipated a similar experience here - not so. Location is good - four bus stops from Zoo Garten Ubahn station. The room was satisfactory - comfortable bed and plentiful hot water, but some general issues: Bathroom was cold (no radiator) No fridge (would be a big problem in summer heat) Very basic tea/coffee provision (actually, no coffee was provided) No breakfast included (different to Dusseldorf). As hotel guests we felt that the customers of the Benedict on-site breakfast cafe (not a part of the hotel) took priority. There is also a small bakery / coffee bar attached - a small breakfast allowance for hotel customers there would not be unreasonable. All told, Max Brown Berlin was a great disappointment.

Dear Alwena, thank you for taking the time to write a review. Your comments and suggestions can only help us to improve our services where we can. We try to make our room descriptions for all categories with all offered facilities as accurate as could be and actually we do offer rooms with fridge and an Espresso machine, for example. The reason why we do not include breakfast in our room rates is that the "Benedict" is an independant company open for all. We understand that having to wait for a table can be very annoying, but we as the hotel have no influence on "Benedict's" policies. They are treating all guests alike, whether from the hotel or passer-by's. Kind regards

When you enter the hotel, Berlin feels more intense. Everything is about style and colour - only topped by the warm welcome of the staff. The bed is super-comfy and having a free tea in the evening is a nice wind down. Great stay

Really a very good bed. I had a very good sleep by Max brown bed:) Inside of the restaurant there is a Bakery. I had the best croissant so far in my life. I should try the Benedict eggs - really good 😊. The design is very charming With a very good taste. Retro feeling everywhere. I love it! Good bus and U-Bahn connection.

The hotel looked great on the Booking site…but walking inside is a totally diffrent story. The staircase, corridor look like in a hostel. We reserved the „excecutive room”, which was supposed to have a “view”, so…the view was on the parking lot and hotel’s trashes :) The windows in the room were leaky, you could hear the wind going thru and feel the cold air. The entry door to the room were very thin…again “ Hostel style”. I ask to change the room…it was not possible Beside that no way to find a płace to site in Hotel’s lobby during the working hours of the restaurant…Which means from very early morning till 8-9 pm on weekends.

We spent our days between Christmas and new year in Max Brown. We had the small room, a lovely room with a good bed and bathroom. On the ground floor is a breakfast/lunchroom that serves the best breakfast ever. The location is easy to reach by bus or u-bahn. A good place to stay if you want to discover Berlin.
