It´s an almost perfectly situated hotel just a couple steps away from the Spittelmarkt metro station. You can also easily reach the museum island or even the city centre in a couple minutes. There are also nice restaurants in the surroundings. The hotel is modern, clean and there is friendly staff. There is everything you need to enjoy the city.

The hotel is very stylish and well placed, especially if you are interested in all the sightseeing around "Mitte". Friedrichstrasse is only ca. 7 min. walk away, next metro (U2) around the corner. My single bedroom was small, but pretty with a quite big bed for European standards (I think its queensize, or maybe a little smaller). It did not...

Really nice and well designed hotel with a very relaxed and friendly vibe. Public areas attractive and welcoming, probably the first time I've actually enjoyed spending time in a hotel lounge. The use of the large main lobby lounge area is very clever and it seems to change its mood as the day goes on, I loved it. Especially seeing...

A very nice hotel, well placed with easy access to subway (just across the street) and 10 minutes walk to Berliner Dom, Check point Charlie or Museums island. Hotel lobby is impressive and intimate in the same time, rooms are rather small, but nicely designed - king size bed is a plus and also bio-cosmetics from the bathroom. Breakfast buffet...

I checked in at this hotel in October and stayed for 3 nights. I found everything to be perfect. The rooms are nicely decorated and the beds are comfy. The rooms can appear quite small, but I had enough space for my luggage so that was fine. The breakfast is the same every day, but it is quite good, especially...

Beauty doesn't always have to be expensive and exclusive. Designed simply and efficient. We stayed four nights for family party and it seems we occupied half of hotel. Although our children are very lively, there were no hotel staff objections and by the guests so hotel's lobby space concerns really big enough. Breakfast were bit messy 'cos during our staying...

My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights as he was running the marathon. We didn't know at the time of booking, but this hotel is almost directly on the marathon route! Easy as pie to get to from Tegel airport, the hotel is the first thing you see when you ascend from the u-bahn! Check in was easy...

I stayed here for 2 nights for the Lollapalooza festival which took place at Treptower Park. The hotel was easy to find and brilliantly situated close to Alexanderplatz which proved useful when taking the drunken decision to walk home after the festival (you can see it for miles across Berlin). The hotel itself was very modern and clean with friendly...

A great combination of location, new building, friendly staff and very affordable pricing make this a great hotel. Next to an Ubahn makes getting into the city very quick. Rooms can be quite small though.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
