This hotel is a really lovely place, very comfortable and clean. The front of house and waiting staff are rude and not interested, the housekeeping staff and one of the waiters at breakfast on Saturday were lovely, perhaps they should give customer service lessons to the others!!!!!

Kempinski Bristol was a very nice choice for our weekend in Berlin. Perfect location makes it easy to move around the city without any problems. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The normal rooms are quite small and a bit old fashioned/traditional, which may not be for everyone. The hotel has a nice bar and a restaurant as well.

stayed here in 1977 and thought it was wonderful. It still is. Spectacular Art Deco foyer, lavish breakfast buffet (including sekt) and excellent bistro with outdoor tables, great for late night drinks and coffee. Spa nd pool beautiful. Rooms are a little small by North American standards but normal for Europe and quite luxurious.Service consistently friendly and efficient. The location is...

Hello, Im actually writing this reviews still staying on the hotel. The hotel is really old and the service is even worse. When I did my check-in, It took a lot of time. That was on April 6th. I took more than 1:30 to do so. That day I had to change room 3 times. And believe me after 20...

This hotel could be lovely...but isn't currently. The rooms and the furniture could use an upgrade; the rooms are HOT. And there's nothing you can do about that - no climate control. We stayed on a Friday night with the jazz club downstairs in full effect - the staff was very gracious about moving us due to the noise levels,...

The hotel is dated. The classic rooms are in need of overall renovation. Bathroom still equipped with old hairdryer, white plastic toiletbrush, open bin, no accessories. TV very small. Skirting board in the room missing. Check-in was not personal. Concierge recommend a diner place which has closed down.

We bought a 4-night b+b deal with flights through Voyage Prive. Very comfortable room with king-sized bed, en-suite with over-bath shower and plenty of storage. Spa with large pool, free robes, towels and slippers. Buffet breakfast with cereals, fruit , yogurts, meat, fish, eggs, sausage and bacon, available from 6.30 to 11.00, so little need for mid-day meal. Hotel restaurants...

Ideally situated on the Ku'dam, the Bristol is a classic. Although the current building dates from the early 50's, its quality shines out and its guest list, recorded in prints throughout the property is one of the most glamous you will ever see. Breakfast is an intimate affair if you use the small breakfast room, wonderful choice and good service....

The hotel is luxurious and well placed for sightseeing and places to eat. The hop on hop off bus tours start close by. The spa facilities excellent though I am not a fan of the German style of naked mixed saunas. The staff could not have been more helpful and on enquiry we were provided with an excellent lunch box...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
