Regent Berlin is desirably located directly at the beautiful Gendarmenmarkt square in the historical center of the capital and most of the significant sights are only a stroll away.
The luxury hotel houses 156 luxurious guest rooms and 39 suites as well as a presidential suite on the top floor of the building. Moreover, many of the rooms, which combine classic elegance with high technology, also have balconies. The tasteful banquet and seminar rooms and the exclusive fitness area add considerably to the comfort of this exceptional establishment.
Quality and authenticity, enthusiasm and warmth. The staff members make the difference. The focus at the Regent Berlin is on courteous, confident and personalised service. That is how the team creates an informal and comforting atmosphere, a home away from home.
Elegance and modernity greet the guests at the casual dining restaurant Charlotte and Fritz.
Our room was immaculate and very well maintained. If we could give 6 stars for cleanliness we would! Everything was first rate and well done at the Regent Hotel. Very friendly check in and wonderful twice daily maid service. The interior is very traditional but very well done. Great location for tourists and fine restaurant in the lobby. We couldn't find fault with anything and will return.
Amazing hotel! So classic and beautiful hotel. The hotel staff are very helpful. Such a classic & fine hotel. It feels like you are in a castle. The room is so big & clean. Location is perfect . Don’t miss the five o’clock tea experience which is absolutely magical
Absolutely divine. So classic and clean and luxury and amazing. From the rooms to the tea room downstairs, the breakfast, the spa, the staff. Everything was absolutely perfect shining and divine. The break fast was amazing. The location of the hotel is perfect and the bike they rent out was by far the best bikes ever. Everything and everyone was perfect. Thank you so much
Stunning hotel , flawless service, top location. Tastefull decor, mix of old world and contemporary . Rooms tidy and super clean. Hotel employees went above and beyond. Always available and so helpful. This will be for sure our forever hotel in Berlin. Highly recommended.
The Hotel has truly earned the prestigious award to be the world leading Hotel. Everything is just prefect, excellence everywhere without over-doing it it and that is the balance most luxury Hotels can not manage. Service is outstanding and you really feel welcomed here. If you go to Berlin, there is no other option than the Regent if you want to get the little extra.
We had a family reunion in Germany during mid November 2021 and stayed in three separate rooms at the Regent Berlin. I am particularly impressed by the professionalism and thoughtfulness of the Reservations Team. I had numerous requests and they were most obliging. A smooth check-in after long flights from Asia and North America was very helpful. Housekeeping was friendly and provided fresh fruit plates and a large bottle of Evian everyday. There is a coffee machine/kettle in the room as well. Breakfast was included in our room rates. Buffet plus hot entrees (to order): eggs, side dishes, pancakes (the best), waffles, omelettes...etc. Excellent selection of fresh fruits. Very happy with it. Windows can be opened and one of our rooms had a balcony. Hotel within walking distance to the museums, Rausch Schokoladenhaus, and malls with supermarkets and pharmacy - where we converted our US and Singapore vaccine certificates to the EU version with QR codes. We will definitely stay at the Regent again when we next visit Berlin.…
We've been coming to the Regent Berlin intermittently for a long time. This was our first visit "after" the pandemic and IHG's takeover of the Regent group and we are said to say that the hotel was not up to its usual excellent standard. It is still a very good, clean, safe, and superbly located hotel in Berlin with a great breakfast offering that we can recommend without hesitation, but there are a few issues with the service and room maintenance that we believe should be addressed to elevate the Regent back to its former self. - Staff friendliness and competence varies across the personnel employed. Housekeeping did a fine job, yet forgot to refill cream each day without fault. Breakfast staff forgot to ask for coffee, did not present options for hot meals, and reacted in a rather unfriendly way when we had a miscommunication. Lobby staff commenting on guest's conversations was also surprising to witness. Portiers and Bellmen were friendly, and helpful. - No more complementary newspapers delivered to the room, and no more newspapers available in the hotel at all (Maybe due to Covid). Also, the complementary overnight shoe shine service was not on offer anymore, only during the day upon appointment. - Single ply, rather rough toilet paper is simply unbecoming for a hotel of this status. - Turndown service at around 5:30 each evening was too early as they always encountered us getting ready for dinner. - Rooms are dated (in terms of furniture upkeep, not in style). Scratch marks on furniture, and couches could do with a bit of upholstery. - Mask wearing of guests not enforced by staff. - No recognition of IHG status by staff. All in all a very good hotel that should invest a bit in training its staff and service to reclaim its place as one of Berlin's finest hotels. We will be back and hope that RB will be able to adress these issues.…
The Regent Berlin is located walking distance from many of Berlin's must-see attractions--B-burg Gate, Museum Island, Memorial to Murdered Jews of Europe, etc. More importantly, it is first class all the way...the staff could not do enough to make our stay comfortable. We were with a small group of California travelers on a university alumni trip, yet we were treated individually with great (and friendly) attention. We had opted for the breakfast option, which is probably worth the $$ (you can eat enough to be able to bypass lunch). Rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. Covid safety measures firmly in place; we felt safer in this hotel than our local Lucky Market. Also a special shout-out to the bar/lounge, which has a surprisingly diverse menu for late night or early evening food. Highly recommend this excellent and well appointed Berlin hotel.…
It was fairly quiet despite the Berlin Marathon but nevertheless the hotel was excellent. Our room spacious and comfortable. Breakfast fresh and good service. Reception and concierge all very helpful (and especially when we left something behind after check out!). Great location, 10-15 min walk from Branderburg Gate, easy access via UBahn or bikes which you can hire from hotel (E25/day) or locally (cheaper) or use Lime bikes which we did too.
The Regent Berlin is the perfect base for exploring Berlin. Our 6 nights there flew by. Quiet, incredibly comfortable and elegant, we will definitely stay here again. The staff were welcoming & professional. One of the best hotels we've ever stayed.
