Spacious and clean room. A very friendly staff, willing to answer all questions. Free wifi. Great breakfast buffet- great way to start the day. All forms of transportation just outside the door. We stayed for a week and will happily return.

Was offered a night here, after our nearby rented apartment was not ready on our arrival in Berlin.Staff were all very helpful and efficient and the rooms were comfortable and well equipped. Only downside was one I have encountered in many hotels over the years, where well used beds/mattresses get more used on one side and tend to roll you...

Really cute hotel in a good location. Our room had really fun wall art that doubled as a light! Directly across the street from a station on the main S-Bahn line, so we could be to the city center in about 10 minutes. Street was not overly loud, and we felt very safe in this neighborhood. Hotel is close to...

The hotel was clean and the staff were incredibly helpful. I was 10 mins late for breakfast, the restaurant was obviously closed, but the young lady gave me a plate and said I could eat anything that was left and then only charged me half price. I booked the jacuzzi room, it had a huge tv, wifi and even a...

Excellent for the price. We had a room to the front but found it very noisy from passing traffic. The following day we asked if we could be transferred to aroom at the back. The staff who were very friendly said they would give us another room. The rooms are very spacious and spotless. We would go back if we return...

I stayed 5N at this hotel. The location was great - right across the S-train station. The U-train station is also nearby. My room was not facing the street so it was very quiet. There were many restaurants, shopping malls, supermarkets nearby. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed that the hotel staff (the lady) was the friendliest and enthusiastic person I...

Our second visit to the art hotel. This time we have a room with high ceilings and a jacuzzi. The view of the city is great from the small private balcony. Nice Kandinsky(s) on the walls. Comfy chairs, wifi and a computer in the room! You may have to walk a few stairs because the lift stops on the landings...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
