The Hotel Luc is a lovely hotel property ideal situated in Berlin. It will now be my favorite smart luxury choice. In addition to the location at the Gendarmenmarkt -- which is absolutely perfect -- the design hotel is brand new and tastefully decorated. Go for a corner suite. These are spacious, very comfortable, and offer fantastic views of the square. Also, the staff is incredibly attentive, kind, and helpful. In particular, I want to give a shout out to Lars and Elias who work at the bar and outdoor terrace. They were not only excellent in managing my requests (for drinks, food, or even just touristic advice), but their energy and general friendliness was also noteworthy and made my stay memorable.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Hotel Luc in Berlin twice recently. The first time we chose the hotel because of its location - about halfway between Museum Island and the Brandenburg Gate. We returned because of the people, the room and the service we received the first time. Friendly, attentive staff throughout. An excellent hotel restaurant and an outdoor area for chilling out in the pm. A nice-sized modern room [with loads of USB connections!]. Just open a few months, and part of the Marriott Bonvoy family. Not inexpensive, but an excellent value for travellers who value both the physical comfort and the comfortable social atmosphere that you only find in really good hotels.

We had an excellent experience in the hotel. Great location, great service, spacious rooms and a lovely atmosphere. Which is in a room with a balcony and the children in a room without a balcony both rooms are excellent with a lovely view. Great breakfast and really everything is amazing! We will definitely be back again.

What a fantastic hotel! It was overall a flawless experience. We were made to feel extra welcome with our Ambassador status. The service was superb and it felt quite personally fitted. The breakfast staff was simply the best. Our waitress (Ms. Alicja) took extra care of us and our vegan / vegetarian meal requests, and she even recommend us the best things to see and do in Berlin, and she constantly made us feel more than very welcome. She was simply incredible, such a guest oriented and warmhearted person! Probably one of the best service person I have ever encounter among thousands of Marriott hotels visited being an Ambassador member of Marriott Bonvoy. She made every dining extremely enjoyable and memorable with her high skilled professional approach during the catering procedures. Actually, all the other staff members across the hotel are there to go the extra mile for you. Incredible service performance, also at the reception and housekeeping. Looking forward to the next time we get to visit. It is a really special place in a special city. It does make you feel relaxed, calm, and at the same time full of energy. We've had one of the most amazing night sleeps there – the bed feels a bit hard, but after adjusting to it you wake you fully rejuvenated next morning. On a more pragmatic note – breakfast is delicious, and dining at HERITAGE restaurant is incredible. Hotel's location is very convenient in an up scale neighborhood and very walkable – close to many important sights and places in central Berlin. Overall, the hotel LUC is more than amazing and fabulous with its new modern design accumulating historical Prussians theme elements, but most especially with its amazing employees!
