We needed a room for 3 so stayed in a suite-nice! Sofa bed comfortable. Room had everything we needed. Breakfast was good. Taxis always available in the front of the hotel. Hofbrau house right next door as well as a place open 24 hours. Construction (big) next door but we didn't hear any noise. Stasi museum across the street-easy walk...

We splurged on a junior suite which was spacious . Sofa bed was very comfortable. Bathroom had a great rainshower and a separate bathtub. 2 sinks. Suite also has a 1/2 bath (toilet and sink). Good hotel in a great location for all the sites of Berlin! Would recommend hiring a bike from reception as a far better way of getting around - we even cycled out to the Olympic stadium in just over 30 minutes.

Room was very small but clean. I would compare it to a cruise ship size. The hair dryer was broken. We requested extra pillows numerous times during the day and evening shifts. Only received them after our 4th call by the night shift manager. Banquet food was Okay but gravely sauced and pork based. Vegan options were poor. Hotel was...

We stayed here for 3 nights. We had a comfort room overlooking the inner courtyard. The room was quiet and it had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was comfortable. We asked for additional pillows and these came very quickly. The standard of cleanliness was very good. Hotel staff were helpful. We had pre booked breakfast and we...

I stayed here just one night. Based on that experience this hotel is one of those average place: nothing super good but nothing super bad either. It has everything you need: friendly staff, clean rooms, big beds, good and quiet location and delicious breakfast. I find Ramada Hotel an excellent option if you just need a good place to stay....

We had a family room for ourselves and 2 children. This consisted of 2 adjoining rooms, we had a queen sized bed in the bedroom and the children had a sofa bed in the lounge. Large bathroom with twin sinks and another WC in the room where the children slept. Room was spotless, almost like new! Staff very friendly and...

Location is fine, but is not so close to Alexanderplatz as its name would suggest. Bus top to airport is close, train is a short walk away. A car rental place is a block distance. Staff was polite but not very friendly, rather cold. Room was nice but we missed the fridge/minibar and the kettle. Breakfast was good.

I stayed 6 nights as we "invaded" the hotel with our conference on motivational interviewing all 300 of us! Nice rooms. Great showers and a breakfast where everybody could find their favourite. Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
