So it's important to understand that the NHow Berlin, is an experience in its self ! Our stay was brilliant and those i travelled with thought the hotel was as much a visitor attraction as everything else there is to see in Berlin. The hotel is situated slightly to the east of Berlin on the banks of the River Spree. Its bar and terrace overlook the river with views of the Oberbaum bridge Berlin to the west. Whilst it's not considered Mitte (city centre) transport links are really easy and both the friedrichshain, immediately to the north of the hotel, or kreuzberg, over the bridge are areas that vibrant and interesting with a varied selection of bars, restaurants, clubs and beer gardens. Consider renting bikes from the hotel as Berlin is a city serviced by many cycle paths and it's a great way to explore. The hotel has a great bar with live music the first weekend of each month. For those who prefer their own music, the guitar room service is well worth testing. Anyone wanting to relax after a day of visiting Berlin will be happy to know that there is a steam room and two saunas in the wellness area of the hotel and a well equipped gym if you still have the energy. A big thank you to Marius who in particular ensured my booking (that kept changing) went without a hitch.

Hotel's Favourite
Stayed there for 1 night only but could foresee the extended fun of staying there for longer. The room is proud of its quirky design I believe. Although pink + blue might not be everyone's taste, we got to give NH credit for such a bold choice! In terms of the facilties, all very good, as we should expect in a 4-star hotel room. The hotel's location is in a funky and trendy area for culture and entertainment (of East Berlin). However it is pretty easy to get to other parts of Berlin if the local entertainment scene isn't yours. Nearest U/S-Bahn of Warschauer Straße is just 5 minute walk away. Right outside the hotel itself, there is a local bus stop too. The view of the River Spree from the hotel and the hotel's own arquitecture must be something the hotel is very proud of, and they do do the trick to attract travellers like me to stay. Try and ask for a river-view room or simply pay a little extra to guarantee a river-view room. It is kind of worth it! Alternatively, enjoy the swanky river-side bar and restaurant for a drink. The buffet breakfast is also served there, and selection and detailed care they put into their buffet breakfast were great - hygiene rules were good too, which is quite important in 2020 due to Covid-19! Staff were generally smiley and helpful, a lot of them are young and energetic too! Overall a pleasant stay, would recommend!

Good breakfast, quiet rooms, great beds and kind personnel. I did have trouble connecting to the wifi though. Also I really liked the lounge area, it was easy to meet other people. Overall a great stay. I'll be back!

The room was ok with a decent shower, the location good. Check in and check out was smooth and the staff were friendly, but not transparent. 20 minutes after check out we were charged a "rebooking fee" (85€). Our room dates had changed after a Covid wave closed down the country in December, but the fee had not been mentioned via email nor by staff - good to know for other travellers who might experience a similar lack of transparency.

Hi Dominik, We love to hear, that you liked our concept and the location. Please excuse the mistake with the changed dates and the fee. Can i ask you, whether you booked directly via NH or with an extra portal? Maybe an extra portal is the reason for the difficulties. Let us know and we hope, to help with the issue. Greetings from Berlin

At first the pink color and the modern approach can shock you... Everything is pink, from the reception to the bed sheets... Besides the color, everything is music themed and they even have a stage and guitars for rental! Quite funny. Despite that, the rooms are comfortable and the service is quite good. The only issue is the TV system that was reloading every time I wanted to change channels and sometimes only starting after some on/off attempts...
