I am reviewing an apartment called Alexanderplatz Apartments, but there seem to be a few ... and they don't have the above address. This apartment is within easy walking distance to Alexanderplatz station, the tower, all the Christmas markets, & department stores - Galeria. Apartment was excellent. 1 Bedroom, but 2 comfortable sofa beds in the living area, with kitchen,...

Alexanderplatz apartments have a great location. Easy to come for airport (bus stops in front of the apartments) or to go to any part of the town. Apartment we had was for 3 people. It has large room, really clean, kitchen was fully equipped. It has all you need during your stay. Only down side is that the apartment has...

This place was great! For some reason I only thought it was one room with two beds. So for clarification... it IS a two bedroom. With a small kitchen. One of the rooms is rather large with a coffee table and couch. The location is fantastic... RIGHT next to Alexanderplatz metro that will take you many places across town. Walking...

A really nice, clean well located apartment. Great to heave so much space with Kitchen and bathroom. I however booked with hotels.com and was charger 30EUR more than the advertised price. I could have stayed in a nice hotel for a similar price. But a great self-catering option just be careful what you are charged for.

These apartments were excellent in quality. They were clean, nicely decorated and really modern. The location is fantastically central, you couldn't really ask for a better spot in Berlin. I loved the view from our window as well. It made us feel like we were right in the heart of the city. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathroom...

Came back yesterday-12/08/13. Fantastic location right next to station, metro and bus (obviously noisy because of this but you shouldn't expect it to be quiet if you're in such a central location)! We stayed in a top floor apartment which had a huge double bed and a single, large bathroom with hairdryer, kitchen with two ring hob and fridge, plenty...

Fab location and really clean, rooms a little cramped but suited our needs fine. Lacks a communal area but we just put our chairs out in the corridor and made friends! The kitchen only had a microwave, no oven or hob so was only useful for breakfast really. Surcharges for washing machine and Internet. Really nice Japanese restaurant next door,...

The apartment was wonderful. We stayed for three nights and had almost everything we needed. Public transportation is just a few minutes away making it easier to get around. Parking was nearby as well at a great price. The apartment could use a microwave, but other than that, I have no complaints. Great view too.

Well on arrival to the apartment I thought great location. However on entering the apartment I though quite nice, but no microwave, no iron, one old tv, one flat screen tv, both of which only showed German stations. On our last day we were meant to be out by 12 noon, however at 11.00am the cleaner walk straight into our...

I was very impressed by this accomodation. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm, but only shared with one other female. The hostel is located directly opposite the Alexanderplatz train station, and walking distance to many tourist sites. The airport bus stops directly out the front of the hostel which was very handy. The room was a decent size and...

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.

“We were on the 8th floor. Not spectacular views - but 4 floor to ceiling windows overlooking what seemed to be a business areas. This is a very bright and airy apartment, and to be honest - if you're just staying 3 or 4 days, as we were, there is so much to do and see, a room with a view wasn't high on our agenda ... the location was, and it was toasty warm, and would definitely book again.”
