I stayed at this hotel while on a business trip for a single nite. The hotel's location is perfect, very near to the subway station which easily links onto the mainline railway (SBahn). My room was a single which was not a bad size. You had to pay extra for tv etc but dont tend to watch tv when am...

Nice hotel, one subway station away from the television tower. Very clean and silent. Note that being a budget hotel the room is small, with no TV and hairdryer. these are available for a daily fee. Nice area, lots of places to eat and hang out.

When travelling on a budget this is a great place to stay. It's simple, it's clean, it's cleap and it's on a good location. The rooms aren't big but you have a good bed and bathroom. Yes, the place is pretty noisy and if you want extras you'll have to pay for them but I think it's great value anyway....

This hotel is exactly what we hoped for. Perfect location for the city with a tube station just metres from the front door. It is very clean and functional. It is what it says on the tin so bear in mind the rooms are VERY small. The space is intimate but not romantic so not really a hotel for couples...

My beautiful girlfriend recently treated me to 3 nights in Berlin as a birthday treat, and we had a fun filled few days! We had opted for the easyHotel because it was low in price and has an excellent location. Situated on Rosenthaler Strasse, it is ideally placed between both Rosenthaler Platz and Weinmeisterstrasse U-bahn stations. Or if you'd prefer...

If you want a clean, simple accommodation, in a great location at an affordable price EasyHotel is a great value. This hotel is steps away from the Rosenthaler U-Bahn and a short walk from the Hackescher Markt S Bahn or an approximate 7 to 10 euro cab ride from the train station, in a vibrant neighborhood in the Mitte (Middle)...

As others have said, the rooms are tiny, so don't expect heaps of space. The hotel is well situated - 10 minutes walk to Hackescher Markt station, and only a couple of hundred metres to Rosenthaler Platz station. Trams also run on Rosenthaler Strasse. The rooms were very clean, and very reasonably priced, although you pay extra for everything -...

Excellent location, rooms are tiny but clean and comfortable. The main advantage of this hotel is price and location. It is in walking distance to all main attractions and there several good restaurants and bars around. Superb value for money for Berlin.

We stayed here as a group in September. The hotel is very centrally located with about 10 minutes’ walk to Hackescher Markt station or just two stops by tram. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but as long as you do not expect to spend more time that sleeping in there it is no problem...

We stayed 3 nights during sept, the hotel is new and clean, well located in rosenthaler platz, lots of great bars and restaurants close by. My only critic would be that the bathroom in seperated by windows almost see through, so if you need more privacy might want a different hotel. Overall would stay again!

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
