For what you pay it's good, but the rooms are tiny and you need to be comfortable with the person you're sharing a room with otherwise you'll find it tough! There is no privacy in the small room! The customer service is great and all...More
Good value for money. hotel is centrally located. Only five minutes walk from Museum Island. The staff was very helpful. Yet the rooms are small and basic, they were very clean rooms. Cannot expect more for the price paid.
For price I can feel satisfied. The hotel is very well located, just 10 minutes form Alexander Platz by walking and within walking distance of the metro. There are also many beautiful pubs in the area. The receptionists were very kind and helpful. My room...More
Exactly what you would expect from an Easy Hotel. The room was very tight and privacy (bathroom habits) were unavoidable. Despite this, the location is great. Very easy to get around town with the underground and tram services across the road. Plenty of restaurants and...More
Hotel perfectly located, many nice restaurants in less than few minutes walking. We took the cheaper room that was very small ! Just enough free space to open the room door ! Bed and bathroom good. Nice stay overall

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.

Ah!! Yes !! We also wondered this, when we went and at asked reception they said it was to do with the sunlight! She said as soon as the sun leaves the building the shutters will open! ... But when it's sunny they will stay shut... Annoying I know as it makes you feel like you are staying in a prison cell!
