We stayed with Sir Savigny for two nights, one of his lovely crew members greeted us with a glass of bubbly while we had a seated checkin in the library of his mansion. Our room was not super big but you could see that Sir Savigny had paid attention to every detail. One night we had a lovely meal at... More

Had a friendly welcome at the hotel from the "front desk" staff followed by a welcome drink. Our room was ready even though we came in a bit early. The room was a bit on the small size, however, it's very smartly designed so u get the feeling that it's much larger and u have everything u need. The bathroom... More

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and I could not fault our time in the hotel at all. When we arrived we were met by an extremely professional and friendly member of staff, who offered us a complimentary drink, a really nice touch and totally unexpected. Our room was really stylish and superbly clean, a really high standard.... More

The interior design at Sir Savigny is absolutely beautiful - vintage furniture with contemporary design. As we walked in we were greeted by a lovely receptionist (can't remember his name) but he was incredibly helpful and couldn't do enough for us. We didn't know where to start in Berlin and he practically planned our whole short trip telling us about... More

This hotel is just a lovely place to stay. The atmosphere, food and rooms are all to an exceptional quality. We went for a weekend away for a birthday. We arrived and unfortunately our shower broke. The hotel had no other room to move us into but the next day upgraded us to a better room to make up for... More

Hip hotel with a young crowd. Good rooms with very comfortable beds. Service was friendly. Breakfast was adequate and coffees were really good. Went to visit friends in Berlin. Location is the best in my view as I like to be in the West and close to Ku'dam. Would definitely stay again.

I only had the option to visit the hotel and the rooms, as a Berliner I was scouting for a new place for guests to stay. Love the decor and the rooms, my request to see an empty room was granted without any probing questions. I think Sir Savigny is a good option for those who are looking to not... More

This was our second visit to this hotel and there is lots to like about it. The new decor is lovely, the bed is very comfortable, the products in the bathroom are great quality and the whole place smells amazing. The rooms are small but for the three nights we were there it was fine - maybe for a couple... More

I am speechless about your experience! I would like to express my deepest apologizes! Your expectation is completely fine and I will take care that this will never happen again. I so much hope for a second chance so that I can make up for this. Please let me know when you will come to Berlin another time. I very... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.

Sir Savigny, an entitled member of the SIR hotels family, breathes a creative spirit into the hip heart of the old West. His luxury boutique hotel is a gateway to Berlin's upscale Charlottenburg area, situated directly on the famous Savignyplatz in the City West's vibrant Art Nouveau district, with-in walking distance from the legendary Kurfürstendamm, Berlin's shopping oasis. Sir Savigny himself is a cultivated yet witty cosmopolitan culinary host for lifestyle travellers, locals and neighbours. He created the most welcoming environment with his stylish-yet-entirely-casual approach to design.
