Thank you for everything it was a pleasure. I want to come back to your hotel because it was a wonderful stay regards.Very good hotel. I am so satisfied with my stay I would reccommed the hotel for sure
First morning I informed the reception that the TV in my bedroom wasn't working properly, providing only a few channels in low quality. The second TV in the living room was OK. I've been told that the technician will be informed. Later the afternoon, my room wasn't cleaned after the first night which I brought up with the reception, also the TV wasn't fixed. There was nothing they could do about since the cleaning staff had already left and the technician was had not been informed. I was offered to move to another room which I declined aunce I don't see the point in packing up all my stuff again. I received a lot of "info" why they didn't clean or fix the stuff, including the that the person at the reception in the morning had had her first day at work... It shouldn't be the guest's responsibility to train reception staff. The second afternoon I enquired again why the TV wasn't fixed and I was told that according to "the computer" it had been done. Right, point is, it was not. On check out, and only asking hiw they would now solve the issue, I was told "my boss told me to offer you 20€ discount" which I consider ridiculous and refused. This was my second, and for sure last time at that Hotel. …
Everything we wanted to see - Brandeburg Gate, The Reichstag, the Fuhrerbunker, Potsdamer Platz, the Mall of Berlin, etc - was walkable, in fact Checkpoint Charlie was around a 1 minute walk away! Highly recommend for those looking to explore the city and remain central - we upgraded ourselves to a suite, and it was worth the extra money. The room was facing toward the back and therefore nice and quiet, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough!
Really enjoyed our stay here. Hotel is well equipped and very clean. Rooms very spacious and quiet. The restaurant linked to the hotel called Avan is lovely. Hotel in very handy location to walk to lots of sights or the subway. Would recommend.
We opted for a junior suite as the standard rooms don’t have tea making facilities. Glad we did as the room was really spacious. A little too big in fact as it was sparsely furnished and the main space was poorly lit. The tea making facilities were directly below a hanging decorative bird cage that I kept banging my head on. The room had a fair bit of wear and tear as well. The bed was big and comfy though And the hotel is within walking distance of many points of interest. I was disappointed with the initial service on arrival as we were just given our key cards and left to it. No information was offered about the hotel facilities or local attractions and we weren’t advised if we could opt to add on breakfast. All of which I expect from any hotel in this price range.
Lovely hotel just behind check point Charlie. Welcoming and friendly staff very happy to help. Room was 2 rooms sitting and bedroom with fridge and kettle. Majority of attractions are walkable and plenty of cafes and Christmas markets on way to break up walks. Room was spotless and cleaned daily. Would definitely recommend
A boutique hotel, centrally located in a quiet area, decorated in an urban, modern and minimalist style. We stayed in a comfortable 2 rooms suite - a bedroom and a living room with a comfortable work desk. Free Wi-Fi, 2 flat TV’s + small refrigerator and a safe. A varied and healthy breakfast is served in the decorated dining room. We chose to stay at this hotel due to its central location in Berlin's Mitte district, just 50 meters from Checkpoint Charlie and the Friedrichstrasse shopping street and the many means of transportation nearby. Within a 20 minute walk from the hotel, you can reach many other central places – “Gropius Bau” Museum, Potsdam Square, Sony Center, mall of berlin, the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, Brandenburg Gate, Unter Den Linden and Gendarmenmarkt. The other attractions in Berlin can be reached via Uban. 2 Uban stations are just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel - U6 line - 3 minutes’ walk from one side, and U2 line which is 5 minutes’ walk on the other side. Also, a few minutes walk you can find the 200, M2, M48 bus lines. Bicycles can be rented at the hotel (Bicycles are very useful and popular in Berlin). Courteous and helpful staff, adherence to cleaning and disinfection procedures are observed due to CUVID 19.…
Great location, close to U Bahn and major attractions. Front desk was helpful, breakfast is good enough and reasonably priced. My room faced into the courtyard so no traffic noise but some people noise. Room was small but had everything i needed. I would stay here again
Probably a decent, quality hotel, management not so effective. Still waiting for refund from Easter 2020. 7 months on and not a peep even though promised refund in writing...so much for German efficiency!
Stayed at the hotel gat point Charlie the weekend of the 28-31 august 2020, hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of most good sites. staff were very helpful, rooms was very spacious and clean and the breakfast good to, only disappoint of the hotel is in the rooms not many plug sockets and no big mirror and the no coffee/tea making facilities, on the whole tho for the price you pay it’s really is worth the money
