The hotel has such a confusing layout!! The room was pretty basic but very clean. It's in a great central location, ideal for shopping or christmas market trips. The reception staff could be better. The lift to reception was terrifying!!

You could walk past this hotel and miss it - there is limited signage outside! As other people have commented, there are so many stairs and the lift is the most terrifying thing I can think of! The room was ok, Small for a Berlin hotel but adequate - as a city break, you don't spend much time there. No...

It was ok, but very deceiving. The building is filthy. You need to walk up so many stairs before you can get to a disgusting elevator to take you to the fourth floor, to walk up even more stairs. It's horrible if you have suitcases. The room was OK. The window didn't really work correctly. I didn't have anything stolen...

First of all i can recomand this place only for the location, the staff is the worst that i saw , specially the manager. The internet wi fi is free and it worked ok while we stay (4days). They don t have a baggage store as it writes on the website , they put us the luggages in the first...

The hotel were ok. The elevator only went to the 4th floor. We lived at 5th. A lot of stairs. The breakfast was ok. The hotel were near shopping, public transportation and restaurants. And it's not expensive.

Hotel has good central location and near underground stations. We stayed 3 nights and price was very reasonable as well. But hotel is not suitable for anyone who has mobility problems - from ground level to you have quite a steep stairs before you get a lift, reception is on 4th floor and rooms can be higher. Breakfast was ok...

positive: the hotel is next to Kurfürstendamm; room was relatively cleaned negative: unfriendly staff, lift didn't work properly - reception on 4th floor and from reception a spiral staircase to the rooms (nothing for people with handicap) During check out time and breakfast people are getting stuck on the spiral staircase. For breakfast people had to wait in a line...

Great location near zoo and broken tooth church. Only a 3 to 5 minute walk to one of 3 U-Bahn stations nearby. Also bus stop at end of road for bus 100 which goes from here to Alexander Platz via Brandenburg Gate. Room was clean and spacious we had a family room with beds for 4 and big bathroom. Staff...

Stayed here for 2 nights... perfect location for Xmas markets as literally on your doorstep. Only good thing about this 'hotel'. However.....it appears this hotel is like a dormitory for Italian university students. We were in room 112 on 4th floor and kept up by them gathering in the corridors shouting and running up and down. Asked them twice to...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
