Very large room with a very good bed. Nice bathroom. The breakfast buffet was rather simple but still very good/health/fresh. The neighbourhood looked at first glance not top, however there are a lot of restaurants around it and it's near to a lot of nice places.

Located near Torstrasse, one of the most lively streets of Mitte with plenty of bars and cafés and right at the start of the über-gentrified Prenzlauer Berg, Adelante has been a great positive surprise. I usually prefer to go to larger hotels like Sana, etc which offer more service, reception 24h. In this case what made me go for Adelante was that they ensured i had a parking place for my car after a long trip whereas other hotels strangely enough did not do that. I was a bit sceptic regarding the hotel not having any worker from 00:00 to 6:00. It turned out not to be a problem, because most of the people working there were so friendly and service minded that we felt very safe in our stay. And that great service was felt from the very arrival, where a complimentary large bottle of water and a handwritten note gave us the welcome to Berlin. The rooms looked quite dated design-wise, and at the same time had quality furniture and they were really comfortable. Quite ample room and very large bathroom with all you needed. In our case we got the more comfortable rooms that have a balcony to the calm inner garden and the small parking lot (around 6 cars). Apparently they are going to refresh the design of the rooms pretty soon, so hopefully they keep the quality and comfort. In short: - Rooms were perfect although neutral/dated design - Simple but good breakfast with very good croissants and breads - The BEST location - Friendly staff Will certainly be back because this hotel gets all the important things right.

Room Tip: Pick the ones to towards the garden. The other street is calm too, but probably nicer views.

This small family run hotel is on a side street, but within easy walking distance of the river and many tourist highlights in addition to restaurants and small shops. The owner greeted me effusively when I arrived and I was immediately made to feel very welcome. Both check-in and check-out was very smooth. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I was even able to buy travel tickets here and the owners had a wealth of useful tourist information. I stayed in a comfort room with a balcony. The balcony was a bit of a disappointment as it was standing room only! It faced a courtyard and was so quiet that it was easy to forget that I was in a capital city. The room was cosy and the heating unit was effective. I left the window open in the morning and the room warmed up quickly when I returned in the evening. The bathroom was a decent size with a wonderful shower. The shower cubicle could have fitted six people – should you be so inclined! The glass door was excellent as it prevented any splashing or seepage onto the bathroom floor. The extractor fan was highly efficient. The bed was comfortable with nice sheets. The safe was easy to use with clear instructions. There were plenty of sockets within easy reach. Wi-fi was consistently good. I agree that the breakfasts were a bit expensive, but I found it more convenient to eat at the hotel before leaving each morning. The food was freshly prepared and tasty. I particularly liked the porridge with blueberries, banana, nuts, linseed and honey. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation. My thanks to you all for making my visit such a memorable one.

Everything was great about our stay at the hotel! The bed was soooo comfortable, the shower was amazing (the bathroom even has heated flooring!). Also love that they have Bluetooth speakers and a tablet for you to use in the room. No criticisms to add, will definitely stay here again next time we visit Berlin!

I made a reservation in this hotel and made a mistake and reserved it for a month after my planned date. I called the hotel and they do not agree to cancel the reservation, a month in advance..! Quite incredible in this day and age, so much for customer service. I guess that making a quick profit on someone’s mistake, even having plenty of time to resell the room is worth it for them.

Lovely hotel in a very nice quiet location but walking distance to many attractions, great transport links, many restaurants and shops on your door step! Large rooms, very comfortable beds and super clean. Mini bar is well priced and well stocked. Staff are super friendly. Only criticism is breakfast- we had it one morning as were in a rush - way overpriced and poor value. Do not have it in the hotel - there are many places to eat nearby. For dinner we highly recommend: Schnitzelei Mitte and schwarzwaldstuben Both 5 min walk away - food and atmosphere- amazing! Big Bus Tour - the best with live guides. Do visit Berlin Cathedral and climb 186 steps up to the Dome - views are beautiful. Love Berlin and love the hotel!

Just left this hotel and have to say it was a lovely place to stay. I would rather stay at a boutique smaller hotel than a large corporate and this really fit the bill. The rooms and the whole hotel were immaculately clean and the staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Very good location and on a quiet street. We were on the 5th floor overlooking the courtyard and it was very quiet. The room was excellent and had all amenities needed and were very good size. Beds were very comfortable and bathroom was great. (Shower was very big!!). Lots of places to visit close by and many choices of restaurants. Would highly recommend and will definitely return on our next visit to Berlin.

The hotel is situated in an excellent location. Various restaurants and bars in the area. Within walking distance of all highlights in the center. Parking is possible behind the hotel for € 12 per day. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is a decent hotel with spacious rooms, not particularly decorated. Especially good and functional. For a visit to Berlin, this is a great hotel.

The staff was friendly, the beds comfortable, and the location was excellent. The trolley stop and metro stop were about an 7 minute walk away, and it was about an 18 minute walk to get to all the museums in the center. There were also many restaurants only a short walk away. The only reason this gets four stars rather than five stars was that the air conditioning in our room was almost nonexistent. Even on the highest fan, only a trickle of cool air came out. Luckily it didn't get above 80 degrees outside, so the room was only moderately stuffy. But I'd stay here again, as long as it wasn't during a heat wave.

Wonderful hotel in a perfect area full of great bars and restaurants, and not a great walk from the main parts of the city. I personally walked to the main station the next day to take a train onwards, and it was a quite easy and enjoyable walk. The hotel is very clean, and modern with a fantastic, comfortable bed, and brilliant bathroom with a walk-in shower. It came with a cool coffee machine, and lots of handy extras as well as good, fast wifi. Could not fault it! My only slight downside was that I was on business, and didn't have much time to enjoy it.
