Slightly far away from the center, but you're gonna be there in half an hour with the wonderful german public transport. The place is very quiet, even though right beside the hotel there is an occupied building, all painted with nice stuff. Some people have...More
A friend recommended this little 'designer hostel' in Friedrichshain. I love this area of Berlin with all its little cafes, restaurants, bars. It is such a cool area! So I booked a single bedroom at Lohwasser. The room was small with a very comfy single...More
Great hotel in a perfect location, very clean and friendly. Perfect for bigger groups. Went with a group of 12 and found the hotel perfect for our needs, with cooking and dining areas. The rooms are quite hostel like, but trendy. Highly recommend the 'bunk...More
Hotel Lohwasser is the perfect place to stay if you want to experience Berlin's famous nightlife. Friedrichshain is lively and edgy, with streets lined with bars and trendy restaurants. Nevertheless, the hotel itself is in a quieter street, so you still get a good night's...More
The best hostel I've stayed in. In the centre of Friedrichshein. Many restaurants and shops close. The impressive Karl Marx Alle around the corner. The hostel was modern with balconies and cooking opportunities. Clean and tidy. Check out flea market on Sundays.
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit
buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
