On business trip I had to stay 2 nights in this facility. I must premit that the chain seems to be specialized in student groups. The impression is chaotic, as the movement at every time of the day. Hotel is big, personal busy and not so friendly. Hall furniture is modern low level contract that has seen better times. Breakfast...

Hotel itself was alright, rooms were rather small but what can you expect from a cheap hotel. Stayed half-board with a group of people from my Sixth Form and despite the ideal location by Hbf and on the edge of the Government District of Berlin, the rating is low due to the appalling "food" served. What was allegedly pasta seemed...

Stayed here in January for 3 nights. Booked a double room and received two single beds pushed together with two seperate duvet covers. Not exactly ideal for a romantic break away. Staff very friendly and helpful with questions etc. Location excellent - 2 minutes from Berlin central station and 10/15 minutes to Reichstag/Brandenberg Gate. Not impressed with breakfast for 6...

The room was small but more than enough for a one-night-stay. It was pretty clean, bed and pillows were ok. They also have rooms with more than two beds and there a lot of pupils/students staying there so the reception area and the restaurant are always full of young people. Sometimes one has to wait for the elevator so if...

This is much more like a hostel than a hotel, large groups of young travellers fill the reception area each morning and night and can be loud. For me this isn't a problem, more of an observation. The location of this hotel is perfect - right next to central station for easy access to the airport, and just about anywhere...

Stayed here in Aug 2016, great location as it is right outside hbf station (can get every train or tram from here) and good airport links too from station, however can be noisy at times when trains go by. Staff very friendly and rooms kept clean and are modern.

Went with a group of friends. Great location, right near the main station. Ideal base to see all of Berlin. Good value rooms, clean and comfy. Literally a minute walk from the main station making the location ideal.

Ideal location as right next to the central train station and decent room but we were facing a block of offices so had to keep the curtains closed. The hotel staff on reception are grumpy, rude and just unapproachable. Won't be staying here again!!! Meininger should really be looking into this as it's clearly an ongoing problem here and we...

We stayed here for two nights. Rooms are very cheap and I thought the beds were comfy. It is located right by the main train station but there is not that much bars/restaurants directly around the hotel, but with good transport links that's not an issue.

Located around the corner from the airport, free shuttle, allowed early check in at no cost. Its not super fancy/flashy, but was clean, quiet and for the right price! It was what was expected! Staff were polite. Shuttle doesn't run until 24 hours however staff called a taxi for me which was $13 euro to the airport. Room was smaller...

Staying in Moabit

Neighbourhood Profile
Moabit
You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighbourhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city centre are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighbourhood in the city.
