Stayed here on very short stay. The room was lovely faced courtyard so had evening sun in room. Great space...and great to have clothes washing facilities. We walked to all the sights but that was a personal choice. From the train station you turn right and then the hotel is on the first square on the right..very accessible(possibly second turn).... My daughter and I stayed here for a week's adventure in Berlin. Easily accessible to the Hauptbahnhof, and very close to the Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag. Our first day, we walked about a block and a half to Lidl to pick up groceries and from then on, only ate out one meal a day. Very comfortable one bedroom, quiet, well-maintained....absolutely... We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the main train station in Berlin which is also a hub for the U-Bahn and S-Bahn system for getting around the city. Also it is not an unreasonable walk to the Brandenburg Gate and Unter Den Linden from this hotel. We were given a free upgrade without asking to a larger... More

This is a great apartment hotel. We had a beatiful big apartment (with separate bedroom). It cost more than we usually pay, but it was worth it. Negative: wifi too expensive, the wine is ridiculously expensive, service at the desk could be a bit better, a bit more helpful

We had a well appointed apartment at the Adina with micro wave, hob, fridge etc. Ideal for breakfast and a supper "at home" after a day sightseeing. The reception staff were very helpful. The central station is in walking distance but better taking a taxi if you have cases (about 5 euros). The U Bahn is a few hundred metres away,

Very close to station and Mitte. Lots of space. Clean and a silent room. Our reservation did not include breakfast, price a little bit too high. Rent a bike at the hotel. We rented for three days and it's less time consuming then other ways of travel.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
