We stayed here for 4 nights and were very happy with the hotel. It was outside the city centre, but there was plenty of public transport options, and it took around 10 minutes to the centre of Berlin.Rooms were spacious and comfortable, but were incredibly hot. The rooms at the front of the hotel were also a little noisy, but we soon got used to this.Breakfast had a very good buffet and I was impressed with the options for different dietary choices including vegan.Service levels were exceptional, and we very much enjoyed our stay.If we are back in Berlin I would definitely return.
We originally booked three rooms to stay in the Moxy, travelling as a group of 6 the hotel looked like there was a few nice social areas for us to all use within the hotel, a week before our stay we got an email saying we would be moved to the Marriot as the Moxy was closed due to covid, we asked a few times for a new email confirmation of the booking at the Marriot and we’re never given one after emailing and phoning a few times we eventually got given confirmation numbers for the hotel room. When we got to the hotel we were asked to pay 25euros per night per room as a deposit and any food/drink charges would be deducted from this, we were told we would receive the deposit back on checkout. We were not aware of this charge and if we had been sent a email confirmation like we had asked several times we could have prepared for it. We had all budgeted for the room and money for our travels and having 240 euros held till after our trip was a huge inconvenience for all members of our group. Also the price of the breakfast at the Marriot was 18euros compared to the 10euros for the Moxy it was nearly double. The hotel itself was really nice the staff were always welcoming and pleasant and I couldn’t fault them. The rooms were spacious with large comfy beds there was a couple of details missing between the 3 rooms there was no consistency on what they provided one of our rooms got a fruit platter and 2 bottles of water whilst one got a orange an apple and 1 bottle of water, our room was also not provided with a house keeping sign for our door meaning we got woken up one day for housekeeping, the room got extremely hot and the air conditioning did nothing to cool it down no matter what setting I had it on, I originally thought it was just our room but the other two rooms were the same. All in all a really nice hotel and I would have rated higher but I was really disappointed with the deposit situation, which wouldn’t have been a problem if we had been made aware prior to our stay…
Superb service and really cosy! Originally booked the Moxy but eventually the Moxy closed. They offered a room in the AC next, same price, even breakfast was the same price, what a great service! The room was excellent en cosy. The bathroom spotless. Slept really good! Breakfast was great, the breads were really fresh, coffe good, super star of the day. The most important: everybody, from front desk, to cleaning, to restaurant were most friendly! Always a smile, nice words. I stayed in many hotels in Berlin but here the most friendly employees! Keep up the good work.
I stayed here for only one night on a business trip to Berlin. The hotel appears to be relatively new. It's clean and has a modern feel. Check-in was efficient and friendly. As a Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite, I was upgraded to a larger room, which was appreciated. The manager had a welcome amenity delivered to my room - a fantastic touch. My only complaint, and it's not directed at the AC, is the discrepancy in Bonvoy benefits offered at different properties. It's nice to get the bonus points, but breakfast would be a better benefit, versus having to pay €18. This seems like such an easy change, but few properties seem to share my view.
Already stayed at AC Hotel in Berlin a couple times. The check in was super friendly and they also asked where I want my room located at (front or backyard). The rooms are nice, big shower and good working WiFi. It is very clean and the corona concept made me feel very comfortable and safe. Plus: The hotel has the best and most fun bartender Stephi!
