I travelled to Berlin for 3 nights with 2 friends. The hotel was very reasonably priced and was situated in a very good location. The room was brilliant for 3 persons, considering most hotels have difficulties accommodating. The room and bathroom was very modern, with...More
A well equipped mid-range hotel. Very clean, with lots of useful amenities. I believe discounted fitness centre use is a benefit to guests although I didn't use it myself. 24/7 access to hotel staff and no request was too much. Within walking distance of lots...More

The hotel feels very basic, and has few amenities. In addition, the rooms are very basic, however they are very modern and well kept. My main issue with the room is that there was basically no sound insulation....More

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.

When you pass through customs with your luggage, in the main hall to the right is an information desk for transportation. You can buy a 1/3/5/ day transportation pass which can be used on all buses and trains, including the train from the airport to the center of town. It is easily found, with signs etc. Just ask the person from whom you bought the ticket what stop you get off. You need to change the train once, price included) and on that station there are elevators. The train stop at the hotel is only 100m from the entrance, easy walking distance.
