Hotel's Favourite
Great hotel, very comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff. Very close to Jannowitzbruke station and Nicholas square for dining on the river. I would recommend this hotel and definitely come back. Though initially I walked past it as there isn’t a sign out front or I didn’t see it. But it’s in a nice quiet area. Berlin is an Amazing place.

I don’t often write reviews but have been so impressed with this Hotel that I just have to! Staff are warm and helpful, nothing is a hassle. The room is comfortable and clean, the interior design is modern and stylish. It’s the little things when you stay in a hotel that make all the difference, being able to easily fill your water bottle from the sink, not having the whole bathroom fog up after a shower (with plenty of water pressure), soft lighting and ability to crack a window open - this hotel has all these and more. Although there is no bar fridge or iron in our room the overall experience has been wonderful and we’re really thankful we picked it!! Breakfast this morning (at around 9am) was busy but there were enough tables and supplies were replenished regularly. There were lots of options and the croissants were particularly yummy! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend staying here.

You probably couldn’t ask for a more central budget hotel. It’s in the middle of the concrete towers of old East Berlin, close to the huge TV tower (Fernsehturm) but I actually liked the surroundings, full of happy, socialising youngsters, and within easy walking distance, or U Bahn distance (use Klosterstrasse), of the central sights such as the Brandenburg Gate, etc. (Easy to get to and from Schönefeld airport too.) On the whole the hotel was really clean, had good Coronavirus measures, and the room was comfortable, despite the strange hole in the carpet. It’s in a relatively quiet area, close to the river and we had no trouble sleeping in spotless, firm beds. Lovely cot with good bedding provided for our little one. Breakfast was ok, enough to keep us going, but no hot food really, apart from hard boiled eggs. Gluten free provision acceptable if not spectacular. We missed having a kettle in the room but there was free access to a drinks machine, and a small bar with comfortable, quiet lounge areas. The staff were friendly on the whole and very happy to look after our luggage. For the price, and the central situation, you couldn’t complain.

I got into the city by train in the mid-afternoon and took the U-Bahn to a station close to the hotel. A short walk later and I was at the hotel, which is located by the roadside, so it is hard to miss. I was efficiently checked in by Carina, and the process was over in 7 minutes or so.
The room I was assigned to was tastefully decorated and maintained well, and the standards of a Holiday Inn Express room were present. Most importantly, it was clean and hygienic. A quick glance at the information on the TV, and having read the in-room collaterals, I knew what to expect for the duration of my stay. My daily breakfast would also be taken care of as it is inclusive with the room rate, so I loaded myself up at breakfast time each day.
A feedback though…I had wanted to launder my clothes as it says on the TV that the service was available, but when I brought my clothes down to the reception counter, I was told it was not available anymore. Perhaps the information page on the TV needed to be updated. Towards the end of my stay, the restaurant also ceased to operate when a few nights before it did.
Nevertheless, to me, all these were minor and certainly did not mar my experience.

As a platinum level loyalty scheme member, I have to say this hotel is the best HI Express I can recall staying in. It seems new and is exceptionally clean and quiet. Very good sleep quality.
I had an executive room with some of the amenities removed for coronavirus. The hotel worked hard to look after the safety of guests and there was hand sanitiser on every floor, daily room cleaning, served breakfast and all staff wearing masks.
Nice location near to shops and restaurants along the riverfront.

We stayed here for two nights during our stay in Berlin, was impressed by the hotel very clean and the staff were all lovely. The room was lovely, very clean and warm house keeping came in to make bed and change towels. Breakfast was included in our stay, just continental but was happy enough with it, only thing is if hotel is busy it can be hard to get seats for breakfast in the morning. We would have no problem staying here again if we ever returned to Berlin. Transport system is good in Berlin and outside the hotel the had scooters that you could hire , infact they are all over the city in various places and bikes you just put money or card into them I'm not quite sure to be honest how they work but lots of ppl used them. We walked and found our way around , used taxis a couple of time can be pricey and none of the drivers speak to you and some of them can be aggressive on the road if another driver annoys them.

The hotel is located in an excellent central location, a few minutes from Alexanderplatz, in a quiet street. Comfortable, without great luxuries, it offers standard-sized and bright rooms (we were on the sixth floor out of seven...); negative notes little space for linen and bathroom without window or ventilation. The cleanliness was particularly appreciated (when we entered the room it was pleasantly scented). The breakfast room is large, where you can enjoy an excellent breakfast, with a wide range of desserts too. Prices normal. Reception staff very courteous, efficient and helpful.

The location was excellent, very close to Aleksanderplassen but still hiden away from the noisy and busty conditions at the Aleksanderplassen. Staff were excellent, helped with needed info. Breakfast was served and not buffet style due to the corona crisis. That put a damp on the fun since the breakfast a little monotonous. Cosy rooms.
But all in all, this is an excellent location with a fantastic location.
Watch out, l will be back soon
And Berlin is the top destination

Stayed here for 4 nights in Feb 22. This hotel is fantastic value for money and highly recommended. Ideally located less than a minutes walk from the Ubahn station and then one stop from Alexanderplatz or a 10 minute walk to the TV tower.
All main tourist attractions can easily be walked to in less than 30 mins
Very nice room and good covid restrictions. No kettle in room , but can get a hot drink from the restaurant and take to room.
Breakfast was outstanding, excellent choice of drinks, breads, cereals , fruit , pastries , cold meat and cheese and scrambled or boiled eggs also available

We stayed for three nights.
Checking in was not optimal, as only one woman had to cover both the bar and the front desk. We had to wait when another guest got in front of us, for about 20 minutes.
We had been given a room for handicapped people, although we never requested this. It meant a little playing around with the shower. A squeegee for the floor would have been useful, as the water didn't drain away immediately.
The hotel is very clean.
There was a safe, but no refrigerator.
The room was specious, and the beds comfortable.
The breakfast was varied, although there was only one sort of cheese served, while there were many different kinds of meat.
The name of the hotel had led me to think that the hotel was more centrally located. This hotel is not near the Alexanderplatz.
The U-ban stop closest was closed. The S and Uban station that was open was a ten-fifteen minute walk. The area around the hotel is under construction, which made walking towards the museums, etc. that we had come to see, a little more challenging.

It was around £40 each way by taxi. There was 4 of us so split the cost. It took around 30 mins depending on the time of day.
Really sorry but like the other answer I do not know where the outlet centre is. Alexanderplatz station is only a 10 minute walk away and as already mentioned the transport system is very good
If you go to the hotel website, you should be able to find the email address and phone number under “hotel details“. I tried to list it here for you, but I keep getting a message that I may not include website links in my answer. (even though I believe it is not a website link.) Sorry.
The TXL bus from Tegel Airport goes to Alexanderplatz. You can get down at the last stop or the one before it, Marienkirche, and walk to the hotel. It takes about 10 mins. to walk from either of these stops. If you do not want to walk this much you have to take X9 Bus + U2 subway combination and get down at Bhf Klosterstraße. The hotel is just across the street from this station.
