Stayed 2 days. The building is 500 years old. The room was somewhat spartan but quiet. It was on the 2d floor up an old curved staircase. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was updated to modern standards. The hotel location was excellent, conveniently inside the old town walls. The breakfast was outstanding. The friendly proprietor made breakfast to...

Drove to hotel and breathed a sigh of relief after negotiating the narrow streets, one ways, and the annoying feature in many cities of changing street names. Parking is in the rear of hotel site and accessed through an archway. Greeted by a very friendly member of the staff and showed to our quaint room (tall people may have to...

We absolutely LOVED this hotel. It's quaint, charming, comfortable and super clean. The owner Waldo is adorably happy and the hotel is centrally located allowing you to leave the car parked and walk everywhere. Our only regret is not staying longer. If you are looking for a typically German hotel then this is the place for you.

We stayed here for 3 nights to fully enjoy this town. We stayed in a family room so we could have extra room being we were staying for multiple days. We had a great time staying here in this guest house. All the previous reviews are accurate including the charm of this beautiful old building and the great service. Herr...

This hotel reminded me of a bed and breakfast you'd find in Maine or New Hampshire. There are about 15 or so rooms. There wasn't an elevator so you had to lug your suitcases up a spiral staircase. The room was cozy, but the bathroom was massive! The staff were all very friendly. In the morning, we were needing to...

Trip advisor did not let me down...everyone was right on with their reviews. After a long trip it was nice to have some comforts of home with old country flair. The owner was wonderful and took care of any needs we had and had plenty of wonderful suggestions for our few days in town. Hospitality was superior. Room was clean...

If you want to visit a romantic old German town, Rothenburg ob der Tauber is the place. Based on the good feedback we chose to stay at this hotel. What a great choice. The hotel is full of atmosphere and situated in a very old building. It is romantic and full of charm. But the biggest asset is the carismatic...

If you intend to travel to the southern part of Germany, make a stopover in Rothenburg ob der Tauber and stay at this hidden gem. The hotel is situated in a building dated back to app 1536, it is cosy, old fashioned and the host is really a gentlemen. We stayed in the room on the photo, room 10, which...

We stayed one night. The room was clean and charming. The people working there we're so very helpful and kind! Parking right behind the hotel was very convenient, they even let us leave the car there for a few extra hours after checkout. Best breakfast of our whole trip and it was included!

Loved how old it was, yet warm and inviting. Bathroom was huge! Very close to everything and breakfast delicious. Would stay there again, hope to someday! We were there on a Sunday, so many shops were closed, but we enjoyed our visit anyway!
